New hotel working out kinks

Posted Sep 22, 2014
Hotel looks great but masks a lot of negative issues: Difficult and lengthy process to put charges on room account from in hotel shops restaurants Did not clean my room one day No hot water one day Very hip looking hotel. Really just an older facility with a fancy coat of paint.

The hotel just opened recently and it was spotless! The rates are great as well. My room was very comfortable and done in dark colors. .. I was lost for words when I walked into my room. I will stay there again and I have been telling all of my friends about the resort... thx

Nice hotel, nice room. Didn't like the location

Posted Sep 20, 2014
Poor location, far away from the center. Pool is small, they didn't invest on ceiling at the casino, feels like it's a movie studio all black and too much dark. The buffet and the restaurants are excellent , unfortunately no in-dinning room service ( except the 3br suites), only delivery from the restaurants at the casino. rooms are pretty and comfortables as all SLS hotels. No nice views, again - bad location. A big mistake of that hotel is the location.

One night at the SLS

Posted Sep 19, 2014
Pros: The evening cocktail waitress. She rocked!
Difficulty checking in, it took about 20 minutes due to computer issues. The hotel must have experienced a flood prior to my arrival, so the registration area, shops and coffee shop "Perq" smell of mildew. The rooms are extremely small (European style) and the walls are very thin, so you may hear EVERYTHING in the surrounding rooms.

SLS = meh

Posted Sep 16, 2014
Pros: Layout of the hotel and variety of dining options in house.
Cons: The hotel is brand new and some kinks still need to be worked out. Check in took much too long, although front desk staff were pleasant and apologetic
Location: Far North end of the developing Las Vegas Strip. The hotel is out by itself and access to the heart of the strip is either by monorail or taxi.
SLS is a brand new property on the far end of the Las Vegas strip. By Las Vegas standards, the property is modest in size. The main floor is nicely laid out for easy access to the gaming floor and various restaurants. My standard room was nothing special. The hotel does not adhere to the 'all suite' philosphy of many Strip properties. There are many more comfortable accomodations in Las Vegas. Although at the far end of the strip, the Monorail provides effective and economical access to the heart of the strip. The selection in house restaurants is varied and interesting. On balance, both in design and features, the hotel really doesnot boast anything that would make it stand out from other high end properties. The 'luxe' quotient is modest and there seems to be a strong slant towards the younger guest.

Modern "boutique" hotel

Posted Sep 16, 2014
Modern boutique hotel with small casino. Far from strip. Awesome "signature" smell in lobby, but unfortunately cannot be purchased at gift ship. Concierge needs improvement. Screwed up twice with our car rentals. Rooms are small but well designed. Service at pool was terrible. Overall a good experience.

Thanks much for your honest feedback! We actually took your comments and are using them as a training tool with our Concierge and pool team. I love the "signature" smell too, I'll see if I can find out where it came from. We look forward to having you back.

Pros: Everything .. by the elevators you have a staff there monitoring that only authorized visitors can go up to the rooms.
Cons: nothing !!
Location: Its OK its near the Wynn hotel
I would like to start by saying that I love the style of this Hotel. This was my first time booking at this Hotel and I can say I'm glad I did. Once I arrived and stepped inside the hotel there was this very nice smells in the air you don't smell no cigarette smell at all the rooms are even better I was speechless everything was clean. I was greeted by the staff they help me right away.

Too many hidden fees

Posted Sep 15, 2014
When it came to checking out, I was completely shocked with all the extra fees that we were being charged! Also, the beds are tiny. Queen size bed is actually a little bigger than a twin sized bed. I would not stay here again.

Good option, close to Strip Blvd.

Posted Sep 15, 2014
Pros: That is New!
Cons: Hotel is in great condition right now, maybe more personal at the registration center as the line was big to check in and check out!
Location: Is perfect close to strip but not in the middle of the mess!
Nice location, great facilities and good restaurants
