Excellent prices at the restaurant

Posted Oct 23, 2014
Pros: Nice atmosphere at the pool. Friendly and helpful staff
Cons: A little too much shade at poolside.
Location: Easy access to the strip but far enough away to enjoy a quieter space. Almost next door to the Atomic energy museum. Easy access to freeway.
5.99 breakfast, 7.99 lunch, 9.99 dinner. All you can eat buffet prices!

Great Value

Posted Oct 22, 2014
Pros: The buffet.
Cons: Separate the restaurants and the Casino to eliminate cigarette smoke smell.
Location: Free airport shuttle.
With a complimentary airport shuttle, free internet and a low price, this is a decent hotel to spend a few nights while in Vegas. The buffet was excellent, and after signing up for a casino card, we had a buy one get one free coupon for the buffet. So $5 per person plus tip. The only thing we didn't like was the constant smell of cigarette smoke. They do a good job of getting rid of it, but smoking is allowed in the Casino and the restaurants are connected. Pretty much every hotel on the strip had the same background smell, so I couldn't really hold it against them. We would stay here again. Great Value.

Outdated and not Clean

Posted Oct 21, 2014
Pros: Not very much.
Cons: update hotel, repair all areas in need of repair
Location: A little too far from the strip.
Hotel needs to be updated and conditions improved. Several areas in need of repair but are being ignored. Elevator to tower extremely slow and not very smooth, needs work. Front desk staff at check-in were very short and not friendly not helpful.

OK hotel, nice pool - closer to a motel experience

Posted Oct 17, 2014
Pros: Pool, buffet and location.
Cons: Hallways and actual shower/tub combos need the same renovations that the sleeping areas in each room have received.
Location: Across from Hard Rock Casino. Easy access via car to the airport. About a mile to the strip. Close to the Linq and Ellis Island cheap steak/beer combo
I have been to Vegas about 50 times and have stayed at over 20 different hotels. Unfortunately this one would be toward the bottom of the list. The rooms have been renovated, but the bathrooms could still use some work. The beds, carpeting, furniture and vanity/sink area are improved, but the bathroom, is small with old fixtures and poor water pressure. The pool area is much better than expected, and was a very tranquil oasis relative to the musty hallways and local-heavy somewhat smokey casino floor. The buffet was great for the price ($9.99, with a 2-for-1 when you sign up for their player's card) - featuring a nice BBQ spread every Thursday. I ate there twice, and their 24-hour diner is great value for the money. The casino floor is typically slot heavy, but there is are a few tables games (Blackjack etc) and even a couple of 2/4 limit poker tables. A pleasant sportsbook graces one corner of the casino floor. If you have low expectations, then Silver Sevens will fill your needs. If you are looking for anything more than a centrally located motel experience, then you will be left wanting more. ** I had a weird experience where I was forced to check out and re-check in to a different room when I extended my stay through an Expedia booking, despite requesting otherwise at check-in. **

Good value for your money

Posted Oct 16, 2014
Pros: The room was very spacious, clean and quiet. The food was very good and at a very good price.
Cons: Have all non smoking rooms at the same floor, because the hall was stinking of smoke.
Location: Location is so-so, and not many things to do. Las Vegas strip and action is 25 min walk.
We stayed five nights and would do it again. The casino was very busy, and seemed to be used by local people.

Very well priced, close to strip bang 4 buck

Posted Oct 16, 2014
The only problem I had was hard pillows. Bring your own.. Other then that you can't beat it for the price. Stayed in the new remodeled rooms for the same price. 24 room service decent price. Mini market inside the hotel.
