Good value for the buck

Posted Nov 25, 2014
Pros: The price was attractive and had a nice resort in the courtyard. Being away from the strip had it plus and minus's, nice to get away from the buss.
Cons: Elevator was slow, and air traffic noise, used earplugs.
Location: A few blocks closer to the strip would have been nice. We should have bought a 3 day bus pass the first day.
We stayed at S7 for 4 nights. The room was clean and a good size. The airline traffic was a bit annoying but most hotels around the strip have that problem. The elevator was slow so we often took the stairs. The resort was ok but the pool was empty and there was maintenance happening but was fill for the last two days. Its about a 1km walk to the strip which we did each day and found some back routes which made for a quiet walk in the morning.

Good hotel not far from the Strip

The hotel staff were helpful & friendly, the room was nicely decorated & clean. The elevators were rather slow & sometimes the halls & elevators smelled like smoke but overall it was a good value for the price.

Nice place and nice dining.

Pros: nice bed and large room
Cons: Treat for bugs
Location: Didn't do anything. By the time we finally got there from airport we ate, showered and went to bed.
Bugs in bathroom - came up hole by bathroom door frame. We killed several - they were 1/4 to 1/2 inch with hard shell back like beetles. Yuk!!! Also we had to wait at the airport for 1 and 1/2 hours for shuttle to pick us up and take us to hotel. When we called a gentleman said to go out 0 floor and I thought he said 0 door and so we were not in the right area. We called again after 10 min. past the time he was expected to pick us up and found out we were not on right floor and I asked him to call him and tell him we are there and I am sure he could have turnt around because he could not have been gone far but he (dispatcher) said it would be within another hour. I don't think that was called for to wait that long. Computer in exercise room did not work so I had to go back to front desk and have them print our boarding passes. Very inconvenient. They were nice though and printed them for us.

Off the beaten track!

Posted Nov 22, 2014
Pros: The rooms were beautiful and the casino was just the right size!
Cons: I did not see anything that needed improvement!
Location: We walked to the main Vegas strip and back. There is a lovely Chinese restaurant right across the street!
We picked this hotel for a couple of reasons: it was off the main drag of Las Vegas and the price was absolutely wonderful It was easy to get to from the main highway as we were heading south to Yuma, AZ.

Nice hotel, close to the strip.

Posted Nov 18, 2014
Pros: The price was exceptionally inexpensive.
Cons: The buffet was subpar. Smoke needed to be filtered better.
Location: Very close to the strip, museum, and UNLV.
Besides having a cigarette odor in one of the two rooms I reserved, the rooms were nice, clean, well kept. Wish it had a refrigerator though. They need a better ventilation system in the casino. The cigarette smoke was overwhelming.

Not as good as last visit

Posted Nov 18, 2014
We could smell the smoke before we even got into the building......it was like a foul wall of poison.....dont know if the smoke eaters were on or just too many smokers, but it certainly wasnt pleasant.....stayed in "The Tower" this time and had to walk thru casino in bathing suit(super awkward) to get to pool ( which was SO FRIGGING COLD!!!!!!!)!.......room was great though!!!!!!...roomy, comfortable and clean....check in/out was pleasant and speedy!!!.....kudos there!
