“not what I expected”
the room and bathroom were very dark--no place to sit and read comfortably there was a refrigerator--but you couldn't use it because it was full of stuff to buy and there was a snack tray, again stuff to buy--my elderly relative thought it was nice, until we told her some of the prices no coffee in room and I paid for a machine which I had to ask them to refresh the next day
“Richard C.”
Only one problem and that was the guest above was constant t pacing back and fourth , jumping up and down. Keep us up all night.Other than that everything was good.
“Yes but No”
We have stayed at the Silverton for four consecutive stays and have loved it, but it seems to have gone downhill a little bit. The customer service has gone a little South. We love the soft beds and the wonderful pillows and the location is so good, but this last time we were a little dissapointed. Mexican Restaurant was excellent!!! Really can't put our finger on it, but something has to improve to get us back. I asked about the "Resort Fee", since I use none of the services I'm paying for, and was told, "unfortunately the charge is for everyone". Come on Silverton, invite us back!
“Always a pleasant stay!”
Every time we stay at the Silverton we have a great stay. The room is always clean and the bed is so comfortable. We especially like the buffet. The food is so delicious! Champagne brunch on Sat. and Sun. is always a big deal for us. The Bass Pro Shop next door is an added benefit to our stay. It is far enough from the strip if you want to avoid the hustle/bustle, yet close enough. Overall, an excellent experience.
“Not Impressed”
A very marginal facility.
“Good Vegas hotel for the price”
Stayed on Veteran's day weekend. Quality equal to major hotels on the strip but at a much lower price for a Holiday weekend. Far south of main strip but this was not a problem for us as we are used to driving around Vegas . Disappointed that there was no coffee maker in room, but all other common room amenities were there.
“The new place to stay in Vegas”
We stayed there here for 3 nights. Great atmosphere, modern and 'hip' but not the young rowdy crowd. Amazing service at each restraunt.. very memorable. Nothing but praise and even the locals were wanting to come stay! Thanks!
“Great off-strip option!”
My husband and I spent 2 nights at the Silverton after spending several nights at the Cosmopolitan on the strip. Although nothing in Vegas really compares to the Cosmopolitan, the Silverton was definitely a good cheap off-strip option. The hotel was clean, the room was fine (I'd put it in the Holiday Inn category), and we had no complaints.
“Silverton lodge in Las Vegas”
Beautiful huge fish tank. A few miles from the strip but well worth the trip as the rooms are nice, beds are comfy and staff very nice. There I'd a target and some restaurants/drive thru's close by. The rate was the best ! Well worth the few mile drive back and forth to the strip, easy to get to and from any time of day or night.
“Las Vegas Trip”
Would recommend for cost, privacy and off the strip location. The maintenance and condition of the room was very poor. Our experiences included: broken lamp, light bulbs burned out (continued to not be replaced even after notification) and no drinking glasses in room.
