Nice hotel- affordable, clean

Posted May 21, 2015
Pros: comfortable
Cons: Did not stay long enough to be able to observe more closely...
Location: Drive to the middle of the strip
We just stayed for a night a stop over from the South rim Grand Canyon, Like that it is not in the middle of the strip but with a good distance from the strip. Breakfast and the Garden buffet was 50% off (with coupon) and the 4 of us just paid $17.00

Wonderful experience @ South Point

Posted May 21, 2015
Pros: The hotel rooms were very clean and the beds comfortable
Cons: NA
Location: The location worked for us. We had a car rental so we drove to where ever we wanted to go. We especially enjoyed Red Rock Canyon.
We truly enjoyed our self during our stay @ South Point. The staff were very pleasant & helpful

The facilities a bit far from the strip, though the hotel room was ok.

Cons: Hard pillows.
Ok hotel for price. Food in restaurants and buffet is lousy. Not close to strip.

Excellent Value Stay in Vegas

Posted May 19, 2015
Pros: Free parking and easy access to car. Dollar tables. PRICE/value. Off the strip which has it's benefits.
Cons: Friendlier front desk staff. Lots of folks just off a plane or long drive are handled in a perfunctory manner. Nothing offensive but...
Location: Easy in and out. Local suburban restaurants that are quieter.
This is Motel 6 of casino's. The basics are there and if a big night of gambling starts with $100 then this is for you. Mostly dollar tables with attentive dealers that make sure you have bar service. You are a big shot here with a few hundred dollars in chips in front of you and a sea of penny slots to be found. Good size room with big TV. A few very friendly staff but mostly those going about their business.

Beautiful hotel , comfortable beds, spacious rooms

Posted May 18, 2015
Pros: the bowling alley, restaurants, 24 hour access gym and spacious rooms.
Location: The hotel is close to everything
We went as a family with ages ranging from 17 years old to 82 years old and it was perfect for everyone. Easy access for the handicap and elderly, but fun arcade, movie theater, bowling alley, pool, and gym for the younger members. The staff was friendly and helpful. the rooms were spacious, clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Had a wonderful time will definitely come again.

Excellent hotel

Posted May 17, 2015
Pros: Everything.
Cons: Lower the resort fee, as we didn't use any of the facilities such as the gym, pool, business office, etc. We only used the shuttle to/from airport.
Location: It is away from the hustle & bustle of the strip.
It was our third time staying at South Point and it would be my choice each time, as we stayed at other Las Vegas hotels in the past and this is by far the best. Lots to do. Has bowling, cinema, bingo, slots, great choice of restaurants, shuttle service, etc.

Great place to take you family. There is more than just swimming and gambling.
