South Point - Vegas

Posted Sep 30, 2014
Pros: The location - easy access in and out. Loved the dining choices. The club was fun- great drink prices. Room was very comfortable.
Cons: I'm sure it was just an oversight, but the bathtub area could have been cleaned better. Never a good thing to find hair in the tub or on the floor.
Location: I loved the location - far enough away from all the hustle and bustle (when you wanted a break from it).
First time staying at South Point in Vegas. The hotel was nice - lots to do, great choices for dining. Celebrated a friends' 50th birthday with the Spazmatics and had a great time! Overall the experience was one to remember :-)

It was ok ! Not the best hotel to stay in. The valet parking was awful!

Family Friendly

Perfect Vegas experience for a family. Especially if you are a "country" family like mine.

Pros: Not much.
Cons: Food was too pricy. $14 resort fee, for what?
Location: Nothing nearby.
Room was ok. Nice view if you like looking at a concrete wall.

Nice hotel, no walking distance to the strip

Posted Sep 27, 2014
Pros: Rooms really nice and big. Clean too.
Cons: Freaking cigar smell and business center staff
Good hotel near the strip, rented a car so the distance was no a problem. Business center staff was not good at all, front desk was amazing though. Check out time through tv was awesome. The cigar smell to get to the room is annoying ( this is with every freaking hotel in Las Vegas ). Would stay again, only if its cheaper than staying at the strip.

Nice hotel

Posted Sep 25, 2014
Pros: Food options
Cons: Add microwave and fridge in the rooms.
Location: Great location, near I-15, 10 minutes from main strip.
Nice hotel. Off the strip, but a short 10 minutes trip south on I-15. Plenty of parking. Lots of eating options. One drawback, the equestrian hall in the back. You can smell it in some parts of the hotel.

It was comfy. I didn't like that my view was of a wall. Other than that it was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Great relaxing hotel with an awesome burger place. It is a little far from the strip but it was nice to come back to and relax after the tons of people on the strip. Rooms are nice and AC is actually very quiet and seems to cool nicely. The coupon book that they give is nice as it has some good coupons that will save you some money. The best coupon is the free drink coupon that will get you any beer that they have there assuming they have it at the selected bar. We gave our free souvenir coupon to a little kid as it would make him a ton more happy than us.

nice and clean hotel

Posted Sep 23, 2014
Pros: Very Clean Hotel
Cons: customer service
I would stay at the hotel again, place is clean and rooms are very roomy, the cashiers at the brunch buffet are really rude, I was there on Saturday morning but left cause cashier was rude, I ended up going back on Sunday and experienced the same attitude, food was good though.
