Nice hotel but slightly dated rooms.

Posted Dec 18, 2014
Felt welcomed at check in but late check out request of 2pm was bluntly denied. Offer of 12:30 was appreciated. Could have softened the denied request with better choice of words instead of "no". I laughed for a moment since I am in the same business field.

Disappointing place to stay just off main strip.

Posted Dec 17, 2014
Pros: Access to the tower and dining at 107
Cons: Refurbish the bathrooms. Initiate training of reception staff. Expedia needs to warn of the 20USD daily charge
Location: Too far off the main strip unless driving(we were). Tower activities good for the adventurous.
Apart from valet and bellhop welcoming staff at registration hardly that. Surcharge/ day completely unexpected, including use of free wifi! Two of the main restaurants closed the first night, one closed long term. Room small, no tea/coffee making facilities, no fridge. Bath very difficult(high) to get over to get into shower, which was good. Checkout more pleasant than checkin, thanks to bellman and valet staff for friendliness.

not worth the value/room

Posted Dec 17, 2014
Pros: Bedding was good.
Cons: everything
Location: long walk to any mass transit like the monorail.
No safe or fridge in room. Shower head is fixed so you are leaning against the wall to get under the water. Clean room just very dated. Beds were ok, not good not bad. Window let in light no matter how tight we pulled curtains. We did not even turn on the TV. It was a long walk to the nearest Mass transit to get to the strip. Disappointed in our choice of hotel and will not ever stay here again.

Simple and affordable. No dazzles, no flash, who needs them anyway! Love the rides!

LAS VEGAS, DAUGHTER'S WEDDING!

Posted Dec 16, 2014
Pros: Hotel was very nice, clean, and friendly place.
Cons: The buffet was a disappointment to me. The quality of the food was not up to my standards.
Location: Kind of far from the Strip!
We went to Las Vegas for vacation and my Daughter's Wedding. Both were very nice. She also got married at the Stratosphere. A lovely Wedding and a great stay....

Great for the price

Posted Dec 15, 2014
Room was great for price and clean. They need to have a coffee pot in the room. One problem I noticed was the sink in the bathroom was smelling from overflow coming up from room downstairs. Also, toilet didn't flush very well. Not sure if they were having plumbing issues.

Didn't get what we asked for :-(

Posted Dec 15, 2014
We booked a room with a king size bed, but when we got there they said that was just a request, and they only had a 2 queen room for us. The hotel itself is old, the light in bathroom didn't work and we called housekeeping to fix it. Later during our stay it happened again...

Cooles Casino, mit niedrigen Einsätzen, der Tower bietet einen super beeindruckenden Ausblick.

Great stay.

This was our fifth time staying at the Stratosphere Hotel. We were there for six nights and did not encounter any problems. The entire staff from the manager to housekeeping was friendly. Room was clean, very comfortable bed and a tv with a clear and sharp picture. Buses right outside to take you further down the Strip or to Freemont Street (downtown). Tower admission is free while you are a guest. Great 360 view from the top. We will definetely stay at the Stratosphere Hotel on our next visit to Las Vegas.
