“First Time”
We stayed in the Grand Suite - King with Sleeper Sofa. Everything was great and we were really pleased with the room, cleanliness, etc... The only problem was the Sleeper Sofa was broken. Otherwise, we were pretty happy with the hotel and room.
“Best hotel on the strip for the price”
Great place to stay, fun machines and clean rooms with a good staff. It's at the far end of the strip away from most all the glitter and people, good or bad is up to you, (we were there during the off season so only the other end of the strip was very busy). The neighbor hood outside was not the best but I never felt in danger but kept a close eye out so as to not be in danger, because it's there I think. Being away from the active places was not so bad fom me because I don't mind walking. It took me 2 1/2 hours to walk one way of the strip north to south, I am a fast walker. Me and my wife did the bus pass thing and it was very easy. Get on the bus with seven dollars and you get a 24 hour unlimited pass. The bus (one every 20 mins or so stop all the way up and down on the strip and goes to Freemont street. (Freemont street is a blast and a must see. When I go back some day I will stay there again unless I find one of the big name hotel casino's at the other end of the strip for the same price. The bus pass cost will not matter because no matter where I stay I will need it everyday to see all the sites.
“OK, would try a different hotel”
To far from other hotels and casinos. Other wise it was OK. Staff was very friendly, and accommodating.
“If you want a view of LV from the top, the hotel stay includes the ride up to the observation deck.”
Hotel reeks of smoke (cigarettes). We had to walk through the casino everytime we needed to go to our room and had to smell the smoke. Otherwise, it was decent stay. It's too far to walk into the centre of the Strip.
“Newer rooms are great!”
Went to LV to celbrate my 40th. Made all reservations through Expedia. They told me to contact the Stratosphere directly to request to have all 4 of our rooms together. I did just that. Upon checking in, we were told they could not guarantee that all 4 rooms would be together--even though I was given that guarantee over the phone by one of their very own employees! We ended up being on 3 separate floors. Not ideal, but not the end of the world. Check-in took longer than expected. Other than that, our stay at the Stratosphere was wonderful. The newer rooms are beautiful (Do NOT stay in the other tower of rooms...VERY out-dated). Breakfast buffet was superb. Roxy's Diner had great food and service. Excellent pizza in the Tower PIzza restaurant. We liked that we were not in the middle of the strip, so the minute we walked out of our hotel we weren't surrounded by craziness. This hotel is the ideal location if you want to experience the strip AND head downtown to Fremont Street...it's right in the middle of both locations. Looking foward to our next trip...
“the cleaness is not it's priority”
i think you will find another option for the same price, and you can enjoy it better. I had a bad expirience on the third night because the made didn't do the bed well, she only pulls out the sheets and it was disgusting. she didn't clean the bathroom
“Well played Stratosphere”
Hotel was great, service/staff were as well, the only pitfall is the location.
“Best view in Las Vegas”
Stratosphere has the best view of Las Vegas, great rides at the top and the Casino is a lot of fun. It's also very close to Fremont Street.
“It worth to book.”
excellent
“What a view!”
We were pleased with the room but have to admit that we really stayed here to take advantage of the free access to the top of the Stratosphere tower. Sure glad we did. Wow, what a view! Check it out at night for full effect. Amazing!
