Pros: location----affordability
Cons: customer relations-----asked for one day extension -thurs nite---they wanted to more than double rate
Location: dining facilities, between downtown lv and strip--freeway
ok stayed there many times over the years---was much nicer in the past but las vegas is not what it used to be====corporations ruined lv

Nice hotel

Wonderful clean room and a very good price. Old hotel casino that sure smells of stale tobacco smoke. Great buffet at a reasonable price.

Convenient location

Posted Sep 20, 2014
Pros: Affordable cost, cleanliness, and convenience.
Cons: See my comments above in first question.
Location: See my comments above in first question.
Sunset Station is located in convenient spot-close to the Strip, nearby shopping mall, and the bus stop. Very well kept and clean hotel. The Feast Buffet was superb and the cafe services were also excellent. One thing that was missed at check-in was the "boarding pass" card which the front desk did not inform me about so I missed the discount for the buffet. The cafe staff however advised me about the card so I was able to obtain one for the breakfast meal. Please make sure front desk staff make it a point to offer the boarding pass card for discounts/free play. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Appreciated the security guard's presence near the elevators as well. Thank you!

Overall great hotel

Posted Sep 20, 2014
I was told my room was guaranteed but since I checked in kind of late I was given a smoking room which I don't smoke. It was a great room just hated that the smell of smoke stayed on my clothes. I guess it was my fault but it should at least tell me that my room is not guaranteed

Off The Crowded Strip

Posted Sep 19, 2014
Pros: Off the strip and away from the crowds, Sunset Station is a welcome oasis for those who want gambling, dining and services without the lines.
Cons: The walk from your accommodations in the tower to where the action is.
Location: More dining choices. Costco. Shopping malls and services.
Returning to Sunset Station is an easy choice. Off the strip and away from the crowds, Sunset Station is a welcome oasis for those who want gambling, dining and services without the lines. Room rates are terrific. Rooms are spacious with acceptable views. Room services are superb. Security is evident everywhere. Restaurants and fast food provide choices that match your pace. Valet service is fast and efficient. I'll be back.

Nice Hotel for the price

Posted Sep 11, 2014
Pros: Price and value.
Cons: Maybe a desk or a larger table in the room?
We stayed 2 nights. It was a nice place. Rooms are nice enough. Not recently renovated but fixed up to the acceptable status. Not much room to sit in the room but who spends much time in the room anyhow. Buffet was cheap and filling. Gambling as good as anywhere.

Close to freeway, yet quiet

Posted Sep 9, 2014
Stayed at Sunset Stations on our way to Phoenix and on our way home from Camas, Washington. Easy access to freeway and costco for gas. Hotel is nice and security patrols the parking lot and monitors entry to elevators. Staff was friendly and helpful when needed. This will be our stop when we travel Vegas. Nice view from our window.

Nice Hotel, Location Remote

Posted Sep 5, 2014
Pros: Large room, plenty of parking.
Location: Not much to do in the area.
Nice hotel with large clean room. Parking is plentiful. However, it is located in the far end of Henderson. It will take 20-30min to go to The Strip. But hey, with the price they chaged on room, I can live with it.
