Never ever again

Posted Aug 28, 2014
Before i make the booking i called the hotel directly and they told me the suite they have is 2 bedrooms and a living room, I booked it and when we arrived there i found out its one bedroom and a living room, we was 6 persons, in the check in the hotel told me that i will find the carts on the corner and i can use it to transfer my stuff and the bags from the car to the room, the was super dirty and smily, the carpet in the bedroom was wet (dog urine) I told the reception face to face but and i asked them to change the suite but they told sorry they fully booked I told at least send some one to clean the urine its smell so bad, the looked at me with an empty eyes and told me there is nothing we can do now its 2am and they didnt even told me they gonna send some one the next day and of course they didnt!!! -100 from 100 the worst ever

He stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and we really enjoyed. The pool was small but really nice and it wasn't too far from the strip

Convenient, due to proximity to Las Vegas Strip.

Posted Aug 21, 2014
Pros: Location and courteous staff.
Cons: More focus on running hotel and less on Casino. After all, you are a hotel, are you not?
Location: Again, great location for stay off strip if you want to take advantage of strip during short stay.
Very run down and lacked basic hotel amenities. Travel extensively with my children and stay in Super 8 hotels so that I can take advantage of continental breakfast to get an early start on following day's travel. Usually stay on Las Vegas Strip in a major hotel when I visit or do business in Las Vegas. However, as we were just passing through on our way to Grand Canyon, I chose off strip hotel to avoid ridiculous resort fees that apply for any stay on strip. Las Vegas Super 8 was conveniently located for our purpose and allowed for quick dinner and sight seeing with my children before early departure the following morning. Hotel was very run down and had to go down to front desk to request basic necessities found in most hotels when you check in; such as towels. Building seemed to be neglected and breakfast offering was average, given other Super 8 hotels we have stayed in. Given location, perhaps charging more for stay would be justified if facility was better maintained, cleaner, amenities provided as expected, and some attention given to breakfast service. Take lesson from Twin Falls, ID stay we had the night before. Excellent service and all around A . All that despite the fact that they were dealing with a natural disaster in Twin Falls and lobby was packed with Red Cross workers and hotel was turning away walk-ins. Only real plus for Vegas Super 8 was polite and apologetic staff, including maintenance man dispatched to fix lights and faucet in our room.

Amazing!

I had a really great stay at this hotel. Airport shuttle was early for our arrival, front desk was very welcoming, cleaning service was always discreet and timely. Ice machines were available throughout the hotel, the 24 hour pool and spa were great amenities. I would definitely recommend this hotel. It's only a block away from the strip, near multiple places to eat, and get a few knickknacks that you might've left at home.

The hotel is located just one block from the busy strip so it is an easy walk. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is adequate for what we paid. The staff are helpful and friendly. The swimming pool is also ok.

A bad smell

Posted Jul 25, 2014
Pros: It was close to the main stip.
Cons: It needs to be thoroughly cleaned and updated. it is very sad and tired looking.
Location: It is close to the main strip in vegas and there is lots to do and see.
The staff were very nice but the room had a very bad smell in it. Had I not been so tired I would have moved hotels.

This hotel smelled terrible. Loud and disgusting.

This hotel is a generally dark and smells like stale cigarettes and disappointment. The ceiling had a huge leak in front of the elevator....a trash can was catching the run off.

Nice hotel closing to Strip

Posted Jul 17, 2014
Pros: Service, location, Clean room.
Cons: I can't think of any.
Location: Vegas Strip Area
We doubted it before we get to the hotel. It's a truly nice Super 8 hotel I have ever stayed. The value is nice and the service, and location too. The room is clean and the hotel offer coupons to eat and play at Ellis Casino next door. I also like the fact that the hotel and casino are separate so that we don't need to go through the smoking area each time when we get to our hotel rooms. I also stayed with brand name hotels in Vegas. Plus guest fees, it usually cost triples than Super 8 with similar service. Next time if we visit Vegas, I will still stay with this hotel.
