Great Hotel with Access to Mandalay BeachesPosted Apr 15, 2014
Pros: Clean, comfortable, access to pools, easy check in/out
Cons: It is a bit of a hike from the main action on the strip. Not bad by cab tho.
Great hotel, a little smaller than Mandalay so easier with check in/out. Very nice rooms-really appreciated having 1.5 bathrooms!!! A short cab ride/walk from the main hustle and bustle, but over all very convenient and nice. Would def stay here again.LOVED having access to the pools at Mandalay!!!

DisappointedPosted Apr 8, 2014
Pros: We always liked the separation of the living areas for privacy for others traveling with you.
Cons: The customer service needs to be improved or by overhearing several employees, they are extremelly short staffed and maybe they are overworked!
We use to stay there all the time. Changed rooms 3 times. Kept up 1st night until 4am from the MIX lounge 33 floors above us. Standing water in the sink when we checked in, shower smelled terrible, had to call a plumber. Bar drinks were absolutely outrageous. Staff not as outgoing and happy as they use to be.

Clean and ClassyPosted Apr 6, 2014
Hotel staff were good. Front desk was accommodating but did not always follow through with things. Bed was not as comfortable as it should be. After a long day on strip or night out, the bed has to be comfortable! We had the queen suites at THE hotel with lots of phones and TVs. We had two rooms and each room had at least 2 phones that did not work. Although we did not come to Vegas to watch TV, when we did turn it on they were horrible low resolution sets - not even flat screens. Must have been the originals from when hotel was built! Considering what we paid, I would expect better.

Great pool!Posted Apr 4, 2014
Pros: The wave pool, outdoor spaces
We stayed with my husband and two daughters and had a great time using the pool, lazy river and outdoor area. It's quite far from the "center" of the strip, though the tram to NY/NY was very helpful. It was great to stay at THEhotel side of the Mandalay Bay, away from the casino and noise, but to get anywhere you had to walk right through the middle of all of that anyway.

Loved the pool and location.Posted Apr 2, 2014
Pros: The wave pool was fun and extra room for sitting is great.
Cons: Not a fan of the minibar - this could be done away with and the option to just have the small frig for in-room sodas or fruit would be great.
Location: Loved Minus 5 Ice bar - really fun experience.
We really enjoyed the pool and everyone on the staff was great and very friendly and helpful. Our room was kept very clean and the location is great.

Excellent hotel rooms with poor servicePosted Mar 30, 2014
Pros: nice and comfortable rooms…
Cons: If only the staff clean your room daily as they suppose to….
I found the hotel room and amenities excellent, but my room was not attended to for a day of my stays( no change of bed sheets, no cleaning of bath room: I found the towels I used still lying on the bath room floor; My bed was as messy as I left it in the morning for my meeting. ) …

Nice hotel for conference.Posted Mar 29, 2014
Pros: Clean, good decor. Quiet. Wi-fi included in $28 resort fee.
I went for a conference at Mandalay Bay. It was a little bit of a walk to conference area seemed like at least 10 minutes. They only had a handicap room so I didn't have a tub. Overall, room was very nice. They charge for coffee in your room.

TheHotel at Mandalay BayPosted Mar 24, 2014
Every room is a suite in TheHotel at Mandalay Bay. Rooms are nicely decorated and the bedrooms are separated from the living area. The staff and employees are very friendly. I have stayed here several times and it is one of my favorite hotels in Vegas. The hotel rates are reasonable as well. Great casino and sportsbook areas. There are several excellent restaurants on the premises.
