Great Hotel

Posted Jan 26, 2015
Pros: The room comfort is awesome!
Cons: The check-in process was slow. Very slow. We were the only two people in line and it took about 30 minutes.
The hotel is very clean. It is located off the strip, but the shuttle service to and from the strip is awesome.

Quiet Stay

Posted Jan 25, 2015
Pros: Service
Cons: Very instructions to the coffee pot! in the room. Also add more coffee bags, not just one envelope
Location: Actually Denny's!! Pretty far, but I would stay again
Very nice and pleasant, people were very nice and accommodated! The only bad thing for me was the distance to the convention center!!

New fans of Tahiti Village Resort.

Posted Jan 24, 2015
Pros: Friendly staff, frequent shuttle, yoga and Pilates classes, full kitchen, away from strip. Great view.
Cons: Our stove was not level, slanted about an inch down on one side. Washer dryer Cycles (even Quick) were slow.
Location: Whole foods 2 blocks, great mall next door, superb restaurant Bootleggers with live Jazz, incredible homemade pizza and calzones. Liquor shop nearby
Heard about Tahitii Village resort from a work colleague. Arrived on Sunday morning, staying 4 nights. We requested tower 5 but room wasn't ready. Ate pizza lunch in the bar and had happy hour drinks - great value. Asked concierge for show tickets and learned that if we took in a sales presentation, the tickets would be significantly reduced. We were driven to another hotel for the RCI (time share) presentation which took approximately 2.5 hours, including travel time. Really glad we did it the first day, and would do it again for the ticket savings. Our room was ready just before we were driven back. 10th floor Bora bora room was excellent, loads of room, clean, great bed, full kitchen. We loved the steam shower and jacuzzi tub. Balcony overlooked the pool and offered a night view of the strip. Used washer dryer - they had slow cycles but functional. Staff were wonderful and always smiled. Used the pool, cool weather but great for sunning. Walked 1000 steps to Whole Foods, 2 blocks away. Pricey but got all we needed including beer and wine. Premium Outlet Mall next door had great sales. Loved the free shuttle to the strip (highly recommend tipping the driver each time) as they were very friendly and extremely prompt. Took Fremont experience shuttle Tuesday and saw Gordie Brown Show at Golden Nugget. He was incredible! Also saw Absinthe (would buy tickets through TH concierge next time). A fabulous holiday at TH and we will be back!

Located on south end of the strip. Quiet

Posted Jan 21, 2015
Pros: Love the location. The lazy river and hot tub are great. Shuttles are very convenient and free.
Cons: The carpets in the unite we were in, needs to be changed. They are tired and warn out.
Location: Very close to Denys with great service and great food. Close to the large outlet mall. (Walking distance.) also, the free shuttles run every half hour
Only problem we had was the door lock and that was fixed within minutes of informing the front desk.

Hello, Sue. Thank you for your generous rating. The only thing that keeps us from being completely satisfied with our prompt response is the fact there was a problem to begin with. We apologize for the inconvenience and are happy it did not negatively influence your opinion of the rest of our resort. We hope you will consider us again on your next visit to Las Vegas.

Friendly, helpful staff.

Posted Jan 12, 2015
Pros: The room was spacious and the kitchenette was a plus.
Cons: The only negative comment I have is that we did not receive our wake up call as requested.
Location: The outlet mall is within walking distance as well as a convenience store. Not too far from the strip and the shuttle ran every thirty minutes.
We had a good experience at Tahiti Village. The tropical decor was inviting and the staff was very helpful in assisting with suggestions for activities. The shuttle was also a plus. We enjoyed our stay.

Good resort - beware about parking

Posted Jan 5, 2015
Pros: Very large room. ZERO pestering for a "welcome tour" to sell you timeshare. I was expecting the worst. 3 minute drive to the airport/Rental Return
Cons: Give guests parking passes at the front desk - don't make them go to the concierge. Gated parking in the big structure.
Location: Not much. This is in the "boonies" for Vegas, but far enough away from the busy strip to be comfortable. On-site sports bar has very good food.
We stayed in a 2BR for two nights. The room was very good - everything worked and was clean. The 2BR room is a lockoff, and the studio is much larger than we expected; it's actually a suite. Consequently, the master bedroom is a bit smaller than we expected. Also, the double lockoff doors have spring hinges, so they will not remain open unless you prop each open with a chair - that is a bit annoying. A firm pillow was not found on either bed; the firm pillow is hidden in the extra sets of bedding for the sofa beds. During checkin, you are asked a variety of info about your car: Make, Model, Color, Plate, and State on the plates. They enter all of this into a computer. We gave them the info and went on our way. The next morning, I found a nastygram on my car window saying I would be towed within several hours for not displaying the parking tag I WAS NEVER GIVEN. Turns out that after standing in the checkin line, you then need to stand in the line at the concierge desk to get a parking pass. This is the height of stupidity, as the concierge looks up the info that the front desk just entered. There is no reason why the front desk couldn't have given me the parking pass. I realize that Vegas is not your typical resort town, because parking is comped everywhere. But because Tahiti Village has no casino, I don't understand why they do not have secure gated parking.

Thank you for your visit and feedback, Brian. We are pleased you enjoyed your stay in our deluxe two-bedroom Royal Tahitian. Please accept our apology for the door hinges and making you search for a firm pillow. We’re glad you were able to locate one and would have been happy to deliver as many as you needed in the event you couldn’t find a suitable alternative. We are also sorry for the parking pass confusion. We should have informed you of our procedures and disclosed where to pick up your pass at check-in. Thank you so much for staying with us. We hope you will consider us again on your next visit to Las Vegas.

Nice hotel. Shuttle buses were awesome.

Posted Jan 5, 2015
The staff was awesome, helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and spacious. We loved the shuttle buses that took you to some of the hotspots in Vegas. The pool area was big and very clean. The only complaint we have is from the restaurant in the hotel. I got sick from the burger I ate and ruined the rest of that day/night for me.

Hello, Sam. Thank you for visiting Tahiti Village. We are delighted we were able to make such a favorable impression in so many areas. It is especially gratifying that we met your expectations for helpful and courteous customer service. We hope you will accept our sincere apology for your burger. We have maintained our A status with the health district since the day we opened and pay strict attention to our food preparation guidelines. We will most certainly forward your comments to our restaurant manager and head chef to ensure it won't happen again. Again, we hope you will accept our apology and are sorry the incident ruined the rest of your evening. We are thankful the incident didn't negatively affect your opinion of the rest of our resort and hope you will consider us again on your next visit to Las Vegas.
