We would highly recommend the Tahiti Village! The staff was very cordial and it was a beautiful place to stay with our family!

Great "Resort" off the Strip

Posted Dec 8, 2014
Pros: Friendly, clean, off the strip
Cons: We felt that the prices of the liquor at the pool and lazy river were a little high, but not a deal breaker
Location: Great location off the strip but only a 10 - 15 minute shuttle to the strip. Outlet Mall 5 minutes away. Airport a 10 -15 minute ride
The resort check in was quick and smooth. Do not worry about taking a shuttle as close to airport, just grab a cab, it was cheaper than our shuttle. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and up to date. Single rooms do not have a balcony, only the 2 bedroom so remember when booking. We did not have one and it would have been nice to. Beach area for children was large and great for the children. Pool was large as well with lots of chairs and loungers. Did not use the family hot tub but did use the Adult Hot Tub and it was great, take your own liquor and food. The Lazy River was also very nice and relaxing. Drinks were rather expensive but if you are thirsty nice to have close by. On site restaurant had good food at reasonable prices. There was also a small convenience store on site to get those small things. There was a shuttle that ran a number of days to the local grocery store if you wanted to get groceries, snacks or cheap liquor and mix. The shuttle that ran every 1/2 hour to the strip was a great convenience, We did not need to rent a vehicle. The Outlet mall is literally a 5 minute walk and there were also a number of restaurants like IHOP as well as a liquor outlet. We had a room that faced the large pool and children beach area, great view. Like I said it would have been nice to have a balcony for coffee in the morning or an evening night cap. We did not have any children with us but would not hesitate to take our adult children and grandchildren.

Thank you, Marvin! We are so pleased that you enjoyed your visit and appreciate your generous comments. While our one-bedroom Moorea units do not have a private balcony, our larger one-bedroom Bora Bora suites do. They are nearly 1,000 square feet and include a full kitchen, washer-dryer, steam shower and jetted tub. Joined together they become our deluxe two-bedroom Royal Tahitian, so you can have a balcony in either the Bora Bora or Royal Tahitian. Be sure to request one or the other so you can enjoy a morning or evening beverage on your next visit. We are happy our new onsite bar and bistro, 17° South Booze & Bites, made a favorable impression and that our WikiWiki convenience store had all the little things you needed. If you require more than what our Wiki offers, our grocery shuttle takes you to the market every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday morning. As you mentioned, our Strip shuttle runs every half hour. It also alleviates the worry of driving if you’d had a little too much fun. We are glad you think so highly of our family-friendly environment that you wouldn’t hesitate to bring your grandchildren along with you on your next visit. We hope it will be soon! Thanks again for your visit and kind words.

Doesn't feel like Vegas at all.

Posted Nov 21, 2014
Pros: There's no gambling, no smoking, it's quiet, and very, very close to the south outlet mall, Town Square, and the southern end of the Strip.
Cons: The automated airline boarding pass kiosk need to be hickup free.
Location: There is an outlet mall one block south and a restaurant shopping area called Town Square four blocks away. You can walk to both, if you're a walker.
My room had a living space, large bathroom, and bedroom with a sliding door closet. The Lazy River pool is great for swimmers. Used by "tire tube" waders in the afternoon, the meandering route is a pleasure to swim. I swam with the current and at the end against the current. The week before Thanksgiving, Vegas was empty, and cool to cold.

Thank you, Josh! We are delighted you enjoyed your stay with us. As you discovered, our spacious guest suites are a considerable step up from the standard Las Vegas hotel room. In addition to the features you mentioned, our guest rooms come with a full kitchen, washer-dryer, jetted tub, steam shower and private balconey in select units. You picked a great time to visit if you wanted our tropical beach pool and Lazy River virtually all to yourself. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your kind remarks. We hope you will consider us again on your next visit to Las Vegas.

Pros: tropical decor and relaxing experience
it was a great experience, I would recommend to everyone. Attention to detail in our room, clean and comfortable, only negative was the noticeable sounds from planes flying in and out of nearby airport.

Everything was great

Posted Nov 13, 2014
Pros: Nice rooms and relaxing atmosphere
Cons: Not much
Location: My wife enjoyed the shopping at the outlet mall across the street
It was sure nice to be away from the Kayos of the strip and having the large rooms with kitchenette was perfect. The shuttle schedule worked very well

Nice quiet resort.

I loved the room set up as well as the overall experience there from the staff to the daily activities for the guest every day. Close to town square for all your shoppingneeds and just north of the premium outlets. I would definitely stay there again.

Very nice hotel with great amenities

Posted Nov 9, 2014
Nice hotel, check in wasn't bad, although the night woman on staff was very rude and treated me and the other guests in my party like little children, as if she was above us. Very rude, short to answer, not someone you would want as the face of a hotel. Ignored me a few times and apparently the paperwork she was doing was more important than greeting me after standing in front of her for fifteen seconds. That is my only complaint. The bed was amazing! First time I've ever woke up without back pain in god knows how long. Awesome room, very nice very clean, superb. I'm a local here to Vegas, just wanted a little staycation.

Hello, Sean. We are disappointed to read about your experience with our front desk clerk. Helpful and courteous customer service is our top priority, and we are sorry for the unacceptable condescension. We are forwarding your comments to the front desk manager and hope you will accept our sincere apology. It is good to know this experience did not negatively affect your opinion of the rest of our resort, and we are happy that our comfortable bed contributed to a great night's sleep. It would be our pleasure to welcome you back for your next staycation.
