Moths in the room

Posted Apr 28, 2015
There were at least a dozen moths flying around in the room, they probably got in there from balcony from last guest, hiding behind the curtain so the housekeepers didn't see them. Girlfriend is terrified. I managed to get rid of them myself.

I'll be back!

Great pool, friendly staff, almond milk for my lattes, and absolutely love all the gluten free options! It's really hard to go on vacation with food allergies, they made it much easier for me.

Awesome staff, perfect location on strip!

Posted Apr 28, 2015
Pros: Clean, modern, and a great staff!
Cons: Casino environment could have a little more excitement because it was usually an par / empty floor.
Great hotel, unbelievable stay for bachelor party! Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to stay in the middle of the strip.

Check in was fast efficient & we were settled in our room in 15 minutes. Room with terrace view of Bellagio fountain. Terrific spacious room. We were there for 4 nights & got to enjoy pool, restaurants & shows.

Pros: Fantastic pillows - bed super comfy.
Location: Easy access to central strip activities. Skywalk connects directly to hotel. Good restaurants located on site.
The room was nice, had all the conveniences. It's very convenient if you are looking for a central location that has everything within easy walking distance.

Overpriced but nice staff, experience and room

Posted Apr 27, 2015
Pros: We liked the views and the main pool (although all food and amenities are over priced). We also liked the service and professionalism of the staff.
Cons: The general cost is extreme and makes you feel as if you are being robbed with every transaction. Store, pool, restaurants, room service, etc..
Location: It's very close to the Bellagio, Paris and the Hard Rock Cafe
My wife and I came to the Cosmo for a getaway weekend leaving the kids at home with the in-laws. The cost of most services and food in the hotel is way over-priced (like all of Vegas), but the rooms are nice, specially the ones with a view of the Bellagio water works. The nightclub staff (Marquee -- which isn't operated by Cosmo - just contracted) is not very pleasant to deal with for hotel guests as the separate line is often ignored and left unattended(which means a really long wait to get in). The nightclub staff was also rude when we asked what was going on. The hotel front-desk service was good and all calls to concierge staff were pleasant and friendly. The bottomless champagne brunch was reasonable considering all the other costs. They even made the guacamole in front of us for our chips and our server was friendly and amazing to chat with. The rooms are not very kid friendly (for anyone thinking to bring children) as I accidentally slammed my hand in the door that auto-closes the last couple of inches with a lot of force.

Glamourous and Perfectly Located

Posted Apr 27, 2015
Pros: The room, the pool and the location.
Cons: Buffet breakfast to finish a little later.
Location: Perfect location, near shopping and other casinos to walk through, close to supermarkets/pharmacies.
The Cosmo was a fantastic hotel to stay in, our room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Coming in from a long flight from Australia we had a great nights sleep. The bathroom and shower were grand and stylish. We had breakfast included in our stay, which i would highly recommend trying to include as the buffet was amazing! The only negative is the finishing time, wish it could have gone for longer. The pool facilities were fantastic and had a great atmosphere. The hotel is in a perfect location, across from Miracle Mile shops and close to other casino's and hotels to walk through. The walk through the casino and hotel of the Cosmo to get out is enjoyable and the staff were friendly and helpful when required. Thank you for our stay!

Expectations too high perhaps?

Posted Apr 26, 2015
We arrived and was greeted with a friendly valet who quickly unloaded our limo and directed us to where we check in saying when we get assigned a room our belongings will be there waiting. We tipped him $20 and he gave us a "special" color tag and instructed us to go to the VIP check in. The man checking us in was helpful and informative telling us the layout of the Cosmo, what to do and see. We got there at 11 AM Vegas time. Check in was at 3PM so he told us they will text us when our room is ready. Less than an hour later, we got the text. We didn't have to go back to get our keys. He had given them to us already and programmed them when out room was ready which I thought was pretty neat. As the valet said, when we got to the room, our bags were there waiting. The room was smaller than I thought it would be. We Reserved the one bedroom balcony room with views of the bellagio fountains with a Japanese soaking tub. The pictures I saw on the Cosmo website were a little decieving because they made the room look HUGE but it wasn't as big as they made it seem...BUT we weren't dissappointsd. What we were disappointed about was the cleanliness of the room. We had a kitchenette that had the previous guests stuff still in there. The room was dusty, fingerprints and glass rings stains, the bathroom floors had water spots all over. I contacted management who came up immediately. He was embarrassed and immediately got it cleaned and gave us $100 room credit. All in all a good experiene
