Snobby Staff

Posted Sep 11, 2014
Pros: The cleaning and pool staff was cool pleasant.
If you want any attention at the front desk, you must look like you have money. They really pay you no attention. You basically have to force them to acknowledge you. The hotel itself is really nice. The atmosphere as far as the people visiting. It's really the place to be.

Nice hotel Centrally located

Posted Sep 9, 2014
Pros: Location is great, view is fantastic to see the Bellagio pool display. Also I can see the traffic before venturing out
Cons: Meal choice at the wicked spoon buffet
Location: Everything is close by. Airport, WallMart. Taking the I15 to downtown, Fry's. Other hotel's buffet for days that I need a change of menu.
I wasn't expecting less from Marriott hotel quality standard, and truly I wasn't disappointed. I met my expectation. Anyway maybe what might need improving is the Wicked spoon buffet located on the 2nd floor of this hotel. After 2 weeks of eating the same set menu, I was becoming sick of it. I cant really place my hand on what is wrong, but just sick of the food.

Great hotel, glamorous, comfortable and convenient

Posted Sep 5, 2014
Pros: I liked the overall feel of hotel, trendy and glamourous throughout. hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.
Location: great location, easy access to the walgreens to load up on things for the room. Close walk to other great hotels.
Stayed at the cosmo with 3 of my girl friends for a girls vacation. I have always wanted to stay at the Cosmo becasue of it's fancy, glamorous and girly appeal. It had everything we wanted for every mood we were in. We loved the Boulavard pool for relaxing, and Marquee dayclub was a blast. The rooms were very clean and the full wall of mirrors was perfect for 4 girls getting ready at night. Overall, loved our stay and I would absolutley stay here again!

Beautiful Hotel BUT...

Posted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: The staff.
Cons: Put all the young people in the West Tower.
Location: Shopping across the street, tram across the street at Paris Hotel.
This was truly a beautiful hotel & the staff were exceptional. It was the guests there that were less than desirable. We went there for a concert & that was awesome! I would recommend anyone over 30 NOT STAY in this hotel. It is honestly the worst episode of Keeping with the Kardashians or Beverly Hills Rich Kids I've ever been a witness to. The taxi drivers even commented when we would say where we were staying "oh Party Central huh?" There were rude, obnoxious, barely dressed young men & women walking around everywhere. Now, don't get me wrong I adore young people, but this group staying there were unbelievable!! They would walk around cussing & causing obscene incidents with staff we just sat back watching by the end of our stay--as if we were watching a TV show. It was that insane to see the behavior!! If you do end up picking this hotel & you again are over 30 be sure to go to the pool in the East Tower it is more our age group. The other 2 pools you will most likely be disappointed. I just wish we had found this pool at the beginning of our stay rather than the last day. I hate to give the hotel a bad grade--because it is a nice hotel & the staff were exceptional I just don't want someone to make the same mistake we did. Stay next door at the Bellagio or MGM where there is a better mix of age groups.

Comments on the Cosmopolitan Hotel.

Posted Sep 1, 2014
Pros: The wonderful view.
Cons: Provide tea and coffee making facilities in the bedroom.
Location: Visit the hotels, gamble, etc. Get information on things to do from the Hotel.
My husband and I stayed in this hotel for six days; we were attending the wedding of our son. The hotel was very nice, staff were excellent, food very good, bedroom was extremely comfortable; from our bedroom we had a wonderful view of the fountain. The only criticisms we have are: (1) Internet Access was very poor. (2) There were no Tea or Coffee making facilities in the room, even though we had a small kitchenette! (3) We accidently left a bag and my husband's jacket in the Taxi on the night of our arrival and we did not get correct instructions or help in trying to trace these items

Heart of the Strip

Posted Sep 1, 2014
The cosmopolitan is a swanky new hotel/casino placed within the heart of the strip. Its is based opposite Planet Hollywood and next to the Bellagio. It has one of the biggest clubs and pool parties hosted in its outdoor club, Marquee. This is a favourite spot to stay for singletons, families, couples and for business men/women.
