The room smelled of cigarette smoke, the lights were ready to burn out or they were just so dim that I needed my flashlight in the room, the A/C unit was faced directly on the bed, I had a view of the disgusting roof littered with beer cans right outside my window. The room was like something out of a dingy Las Vegas movie.

You will hear bass and music all night till 5am. The room smelled, no one in house keeping speaks English so good luck asking them for anything like extra towels or soap because they won’t understand you. Suggest staying at mgm.

I honestly LOVE The D Hotel. The rooms are very clean, spacious and feasible; and the abundant staff members are charming and well versed in hospitality. The casino is equally one of our favs for cleanliness, current and well functioning slot machines and play tables, with pop music downstairs and classic rock music upstairs. Though the restaurants aren’t our particular choice favorites, they’re always busy so obviously, they’ve the favs of many others. However, there is one issue that may deter us from staying at The D again in the future… the marijuana usage! I get it, it’s 4:20 someplace. I was smoker when I was younger and on occasion, may still light up. But that’s MY choice. Now it seems that there’s NO place you can go in the hotel without some inconsiderate stoner insisting that you partake! It’s literally EVERYWHERE and the stench is stifling! It’s bad enough that it drives you out of the casino or at the very least away from your chosen slot machine, but now it’s in the hotel hallways, elevators, lobby areas and creeps in through any open crevice of your hotel room. I woke up this morning with burning eyes and such a terrible headache, we elected to leave earlier than usual. What could have been another fun day full of slots, socializing and getting my Buffalo on, was completely overrun with someone selfishly deciding that I needed to get high right along with him. Our clothes reeked, we unpacked in the garage & through everything in the laundry.

When we arrived at The D, it was in the evening and no one else was checking in at that time. The front desk employee acted as though we were an inconvenience for interrupting her conversation with her fellow employee. Once we were checked in, we went to our room to find that it was somewhat outdated, the bathroom was dirty, we couldnt use the TV, and we were 15 stories right above a stage located on Freemont street. We understood that staying on Freemont meant we'd hear music until early in the morning. What we didnt know was that it would echo in the room and we'd feel it throughout the night. With that being said, neither of us slept good.The beds were comfortable for the most part, except the A/C unit had a plastic cover that blew the cold air right on the bed. I love the casino at The D, but will not stay there again.

Nice style, modern and simple aesthetic. My room was located high enough that no noise from Fremont Street below disturbed my sleep, and the elevators took seconds to descend to the lobby (or head up). Neat, clean, nice accommodations, convenient location, helpful staff, would definitely choose to go back once more!

We loved being right there on Fremont St. The hotel room was okay, just short of electrical outlets. Beds very comfortable. Only place we gambled was at the D. The entertainment on Fremont St was very good with live bands. Plenty of places to eat in and around The D. We didn’t have a car, but didn’t need one. Took the bus to the Strip one day with a 24 hour $8 pass for one.

I checked in asked for a quiet room they put me right above the zip line on Fremont Street then when I asked for a room that wasn’t so noisy they said all they had was a smoking room, I was so frustrated. I said all right that’s all you have, pretty Sad I’m sure they had more rooms, I’m a smoker and walking to that room was just disgusting. This is my second stay here in a week and I will never stay here again.

The D is a nice hotel, but very noisy. Outside when the music is going, it felt like the speakers were in our room and we were on the 26th floor. We brought ear plugs, which helped a little. As a non-smoker we are not fans of smoking permitted everywhere in the casino and bar areas. We had a non-smoking room which was good. The D in my opinion is also lacking some amenities in the rooms. Coffee pot would be good, also a mini fridge. The staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. They always had a smile and greeting for us. The elevator system worked really well, there was never a long wait. Would we stay here again? Probably not, just because of the noise.

We checked in to our room which was above Freemont Stage, room was dirty and washroom had hair and chipped drywall on floor. We asked to move rooms on second day, which they did. We were moved to an uncleaned room and the TV didnt work. We called reception who did nothing. When I checked out the next day i again told the girl at reception about the room she said ok , you are free to go. Would not recommend / would never stay there again.
