Prestige at the Palazzo

Posted Apr 16, 2014
Pros: The pleasant and timely service. The proximity to shopping malls. The layout of the rooms and quality of the finishings.
Cons: Pool areas are tightly packed with chairs. Snacks in prestige lounge should last through the time period specified.
Location: Walking in either direction will provide you with lots to see.Pedestrian overpasses are very convenient and provide a safe way to cross the strip.
We stayed for 3 nights from Thursday April 10th. We were given a suite on the 25th floor with a view of the strip, however the view was mostly of roofs and parking lots....although it was certainly prettier at night because of the lights of the strip. The room was well-equipped, clean, and altogether lovely. Prestige gets you up higher (for the better views) and gives you access to the prestige lounge where the breakfast buffet is extensive, you can have coffee at any time, and alcoholic drinks and snacks are also complementary in the late afternoon to evening. (Get there early if you want to snack though - we arrived 1/2 hour before the end one night and there was nothing left except nuts. No biggie as we were going out to eat that night, but even so....) The beds were turned down at night and the chocolates are decadent. A glass of Champagne upon arrival was a nice touch, and the check in and out was a breeze; Prestige service was excellent. The casino is a decent size and has a variety of games, there is a nice boutique near the elevators and there is extensive shopping nearby. The drug store right next door came in very handy for those little items one always ends up forgetting or for a quick snack. As for the pool, getting a chair on Saturday proved to be quite an ordeal, and they are placed so close together that it can be a little uncomfortable for some . Also, if you are a sun-lover, you won't see it until after lunch in most of the pool areas.

Location, location, and class.

Posted Apr 14, 2014
Pros: Lots of class, and not super big like MGM or Mandalay. Draws a more upscale, adult clientele, but not the snobs you encounter at the Wynn.
Cons: Room decor is starting to show its age, but still very nice.
Location: Grimaldi's Pizza is outstanding, and reasonably priced.
The Location gets you out of the obnoxious party zones! Be prepared to pay a little more, especially for dining choices, but it's well worth it. We stayed 4 nights at Palazzo and then 4 nights at Mandalay Bay. Wished we would have stayed at Palazzo for all 8 nights.

Excellent hotel to stay at!

Posted Apr 14, 2014
Pros: It is beautiful and elegant!
Location: We went to the Stratosphere, Hoover Dam, Grand Canyon, Freemont Street at night and wandered the strip this time.
It was nicest hotel in Las Vegas that we have ever stayed at. The staff is probably the best we have ever encountered, we really felt like guests! Between The Palazzo and The Venetian, there is not much reason to leave. The food choices are vast. Nicest slot machines around too!!!

OK hotel...Outdated, overpriced

Posted Apr 14, 2014
Pros: goods choices of restaurants
Cons: it needs renovation, its located in one of the prime spots on the strip, close to everything, but the rooms needs overhauling
Location: its located in one of the prime spots on the strip, close to everything
I reserved a 2 Queen bed suite with a view. The room is large for LV standards, decent clean, the decor is a little outdated, the mattress it was too soft for my liking. the sofa has seen better days, small flat screen./

Better than most hotels

Posted Apr 14, 2014
Pros: Everything
Cons: Make more Palazzos ... and too bad you don't have a buffet but I understand that the owner is not a "buffet type owner
Location: Wynn!
Palazzo!!! definitely coming back to this hotel. We just happened to need a suite for our last minute family plans to come for the Bradley/Pacman fight... this hotel upgraded us to a large suite which worked out for us with our kids & nanny! Excellent service from the moment we arrived @ Valet to the time we left. Thanks for making our stay so memorable! We will definitely be coming back to your hotel!

Really nice hotel at Strip

Posted Apr 14, 2014
Nice hotel and good service. Only thing to complain was a leftover cheese in the fridge from previous customer. When I notified the management about it they refunded me 3 nights from hotel service fee, which was really nice.

Nice hotel despite some of the rude staff

Posted Apr 14, 2014
Pros: The beautiful rooms and the location
Cons: Provide an option of more breakfast selection in the prestige lounge
Location: Ideal for families as there are attractions like Fashion Mall, Premium factory outlet (not walking though) the Mirage hotel for the dolphin habitat
Lets start of with the hotel. It is beautiful, its centrally located, the rooms were excellent, the view from the room was beautiful, the selection of restaurants available in the hotel were delicious, it felt safe as I was there with my wife and child, the prestige staff were friendly and the lounge was very nice and not too busy only on Friday and Saturday. I would not recommend ordering room service as my wife had been treated rudely on the phone with one of the staff and I did bring this up and the hotel acted upon it. As well as the rude individual staff the quality of the food was not very good which was surprising. We did not order any meat dishes but the fish dishes and the vegetarian option let the hotel down. Lucky for us the hotel had some lovely restaurants which never let us down like Lava and Buddy. The cafe downstairs I think it was called Cafe Lux was very good with an excellent selection of food.
