Love the Palms!Posted Jun 29, 2015
This was my third time staying at the Palms. The hotel staff is amazing and always willing to help. I love their club, the Ghostbar, which has a spectacular view of the strip! The pool and gym are also a perk of the hotel. I would highly recommend the Palms!

One of the staff was unfriendly at the time we checked on. I guessed he was tired. The room was cool and huge. The only one thing we don't like that no refrigerator in the room for guess but a huge refrigerator fully alcohol and beverage and snacks for convenient. We were really up set even though having an ice bucket. Other thing is a toilet wasn't separate with a bath tub was very inconvenient with if you have kids with you on a trip.

Pros: See above
Cons: More modern facilities
Location: Near the strip.. plenty to do there..
Great staff, clean room and great prices. I like that I got to do a late check-out, some hotels don't always do that and are sometimes rude, not here... Enjoyed my stay...

Nice Resort off the Strip noisePosted Jun 24, 2015
Really nice Resort off thr strip, so almost no noise, I found this relaxing it feels more private. This my 2nd time staying at the Palms , I stayed for 8 nights this time and I love this hotel, the pool is great and they have Djs parties on week ends!! My room was the Premier Room in the Ivory tower, was not expensive and very classy and new! (120$/night) plus the bed ...wow I really sleep well there, super comfortable beds. Staff was always very helpful and I felt important because they treated me really well, this hotel is a 5.5/5!!! Excellent overall and really recommend it

this hotel is long in the tooth and lacks any "vibe". I have never been in a casino on a Saturday night that was so dead. Drinks while playing took as long as 30 minutes to order / arrive. Off the strip so not convenient to get to other properties. I only stayed because I was playing in WSOP event at the Rio and they were sold out. Not worth the price at all.....

VERY NICE!Posted Jun 23, 2015
Pros: I immediately liked the lay out of the casino. It was not busy. The machines were not close together and it was spread out nicely. It was not busy
Cons: When we arrive, there was only 1 employee working at the registration. 2 other employees showed up, they need to be nice.
Location: Location was fine if your wanting to get away from strip. Sometimes that gets hectic.
We checked into the hotel, and immediately the registration staff took care of us. Gave us a complimentary upgrade to the room on the 53 floor. We loved the room it was very nice and relaxing. Had a great view of the Vegas strip. The view was fantastic.

Ditch Friday's is a must!Posted Jun 23, 2015
Pros: IMAX movie theatre, a new Hooter's restaurant, Café 6 restaurant upstairs and the Ghostbar up top. Ditch Friday's pool party and food court restaurant
Cons: Update the furnishings in the rooms. Seemed a little worn and dated.
Location: Great location due to not on the strip but very close to it to get to anywhere you would like.
All in all had a good stay at the Palms. The only real issue was the room key wasn't programmed correctly at check in so had to redo the keys. Was able to get into the room this time but only one room key worked this time. No big deal as long as I'm able to get in the room! LOL! Loved the ditch Friday's party on Friday, loved the eating establishments, room was cleaned good daily and also liked the fact they had a IMAX movie theatre with an awesome food court adjacent to it. Liked being away from the heavy traffic of the strip but yet close enough to everything one would need to see.

Nice hotel, poor service.Posted Jun 19, 2015
This is the only hotel I've been to in Vegas where no one is available in valet. I don't mean that you see people running around getting cars, I mean no one is around for extended periods of time. I could understand if it were busy, but it was mid week and slow. When I went inside and asked for assistance at the front desk I was passed off to someone else. Again if there was a line of people trying to check in I could understand, but she was doing nothing and she couldn't help? The hotel was clean, the location was okay but there are plenty of hotels like that in Vegas that have much better service. We saw that in this visit at the Bellagio, the Mirage, the Stratosphere and the MGM. It was disappointing, we won't be back.

Expected more...Posted Jun 18, 2015
Pros: I loved the location, ghost bar, Lao Sze Chuan restaurant, the room view and comfortable bed.
Cons: cleanliness and attention to detail
Location: The ghost bar on the 56th floor, The authentic Chinese restaurant Lao Sze Chuan
This hotel is in a good location, close to the strip but not in the middle of all the commotion. The view from our room (Fantasy Tower) was absolutely amazing, the bed was comfortable. We also enjoyed the restaurants inside the hotel, especially the authentic Chinese restaurant Lao Sze Chuan which was an amazing dinning experience. The Ghost Bar on the 56th floor was also amazing, with panoramic views of the city stylish decor and trendy vibe. However, the cleanliness and neatness of the hotel leaves much to be desired. There were stains on the bedskirt, headboard, sheets and chairs in our room, the lamps shades were crocked and tilted in the hallways, our non-smoking floor reeked of smoke, giving out a overall messy presentation.
