Smell smoking

Hotel staff ok, entire hotel smells like smoke, it's in the walls, carpet, also rooms,

It just wasn't that great

Pros: website photo of room was exactly what the room was like
Cons: kill the resort fee and build it into the room cost in the first place. and oil the door hinge please
The hotel was just ho-hum, nothing terribly special although it had the usual slot machines, etc, that one would expect in Vegas. The check in process was quite smooth and the staff there were very friendly. The door to my room had a creak from a haunted house type noise upon opening but I wasn't in the room that much and only there one night so I put up with it. What surprised me though was the $20 resort fee/amenity charge that i got billed for by email after I left. I had paid up front via Expedia so didn't realize that wasn't included. True, the expedia email told me that and the notice of the fee's existence was buried on the hotel website so i figure it's my own fault for thinking differently. Still, it's the kind of nickel and diming that I don't appreciate from any service provider and certainly not from a Westin. But, after all, it was Vegas. One good thing for sure was that the hotel website's pic of a traditional king bed room - that was exactly what the room looked like too. The room I got was exactly what the photo advertised I would get. But at the end of the day, it was just a Vegas hotel, not that great, and nothing special.

Not on the strip, but convenient to everything

Pros: Cleaniness: everything was well kept, employees were pleasant and quick.
Cons: NA
Location: There is the new promenade and many small shops.
Well kept hotel just off the strip. Close to the new wheel that can be seen from the room (if you face in that direction). Clean and comfortable.

Pros: location, staff, big TV, nice bed, good towels, heavy silverware
Cons: hotel staff need to be more attentive to replenishing daily amenities correctly
Location: great location. Great hotel--hotel with small casino and not a lot of smoke
Great hotel and great location. Nice daily happy hour. Small casino--therefore, it is not as smoky as some other hotels on the strip. Which is a good thing. Breakfast is great but pricey! The front end staff are very friendly. Housekeeping staff need to be more attentive to replenishing the room correctly every day. It gets tiresome to call for amenities that have been shorted.

Quiet Hotel

Pros: Quiet. Comfortable beds. Refrigerator and safe in room.
Cons: More breakfast choices. The buffet was $20.00 and not really worth that.
Location: Close to the Las Vegas Strip.

Nice surprise

Pros: not crowded provide a good relax atmosphere after walking through the strip smells great very clean
Cons: it was too cold... and our room also, we have to turn on the heater
Location: excellent location, a couple of blocks from the strip. Also very close to "the link", a renovated neighborhood at the strip
excellent check in, very friendly people, no lines to check in/check out, smells great!
