Pleasant surprise.

When we drove in late at night and saw the place I figured we'd spend the night then find a better place. However, after a nice, quiet night in a clean and comfortable room I decided to spend the week there. No regrets.

Hotel Experience

Posted Dec 9, 2014
Pros: The room was clean. The bed was comfortable, good water pressure while taking a shower. Coffee was good.
Cons: Add a microwave and add a shelf extending from the sink to the wall next to the toilet.
Location: Location was great because it was close to a convention we were attending.
We would rate our overall experience as being very good.

strong smell when you enter the room

Posted Nov 19, 2014
Pros: Breakfast. But it is merely bread and tea nothing else.
Cons: May be they can keep some more varieties on breakfast menu
Location: Location is excellent. There is lot of things you can do around. But nothing in the hotel.
Compared to other hotels in the area, this is not upto the standard.. But you get what you pay. So that way it is good.

Fair motel as a last resort

Posted Nov 17, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Housekeeping and TV reception
Location: It's Vegas, baby. Easy access to the Duece and taxis available at Circus Circus.
Good location on the strip for a non-casino place. Had room left open by housekeeping one day (nothing missing), who was eratic on service over my week.

Pros: Great employees.
Cons: The outside view could be improved.
Location: Right next to Circus Circus and Riviera . Mid point between down town and the strip. Bus stop is near.
I have been to Vegas over 22 times. Most of the time I have stayed in the casino hotels particularly at the Luxor. This time , last weekend I could not get an affordable Casino Hotel. Travelodge was affordable. I was somewhat disappointed with the outside view. That was more than made up by the warmth of the desk clerks. They were helpful , always smiling and a pleasure to deal with. The continental breakfast served between 6ap to 9am were adequate . Nothing fancy but they were clean and nice. and wholesome. Cleaning staffs were always there to take care of any additional requests. We had absolutely no problems in Travelodge. For travelers with budget constraints, this is ideal. I would like to mention two front desk clerks : Nancy and Adriana. They were the sweetest employees I have dealt with in Las Vegas.. My stay was very pleasant.

Disappointed in Vegas

Posted Oct 28, 2014
Pros: Not much!
Cons: A complete remodel of the building and upgrade of all furniture and tv (maybe a flat screen?).
Location: The pool was non-descript. Circis-Circis was next door.
Teens and Hispanics made up 90% of the Clients. That was my first clue that this Travel Lodge would be second rate and it certainly was. I stayed in room 225. The AC was noisy, barely adequate for 80 degree temperatures. the bathroom wall had a 1/4 inch wide crack was very deep. This should have been patched and wall papered over. the tile in the shower was so old the color had been warn off. The top of the counter by the sink had been warn down through the top color coat. The bathroom door was too large to close. the shower door did nor close and stayed open! The bottom (1/2 inch) of the bathroom door warn away. The floor in the main room creaked whenever someone walked on it. Every step on the walkway within 15 feet could be heard.

For the price it was amazing.

Posted Oct 27, 2014
Pros: staff, rooms
Location: walking distance to the convention center (12 minutes), next to Circus Circus, 3 blocks from Encore.
clean and well put together, working WiFi, tv was sufficient (no cable channels), bed was comfortable the staff was great and accommodating. I have a service dog and they were kind and courteous. the pool was clean, small but good, there was a dog run area with grass (which in Las Vegas is a wonderful perk). It was put together much better than the normal hotel in this range. Will stay again.
