Tropicana was greatPosted Apr 24, 2015
Pros: lack of cigarette smoke...loved it
Location: We were at the four comers of four great hotels...plenty to do an see
We upgraded to the one bedroom suite, which is well worth it. What surprised us the most is the lack of the cigarette smoke throughout the hotel and casino. We have stayed at a lot of places on the strip this was by far the best. Hotel staff were gracious, cheerful and efficient. We will be back..:-)

Quick Las Vegas GetawayPosted Apr 22, 2015
Pros: Located on the Strip
Cons: Create a non smoking section in the casino. Add more dining options. We had to walk to the MGM to get better food choices.
Location: Near the airport.
Nice older hotel close to the airport. Walking distance to most attractions however you will need comfortable shoes. We walked about five blocks to get to the heart of the strip.

Nice clean hotel, comfortable beds.Posted Apr 22, 2015
Very happy with my stay here. I've stayed at Caesars, Venetian, Mirage and the rooms at the Tropicana are just as good those. Sure they are smaller and don't have a mini-bar but that's not something I need. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. Casino is nice. The pool is fantastic. I rented a pool daybed one day and really enjoyed it. Ate at the pool and the food was excellent. Drinks are reasonable considering it's a Vegas resort pool. Overall very happy with my stay and would definitely stay again.

My daughter got married at the TropicanaPosted Apr 21, 2015
Pros: I liked that it was smaller and wasn't hard to get around and find our way.

Great for the pricePosted Apr 21, 2015
It certainly isn't the Aria or Caesar's, but the hotel is nice and also on the strip, so you can take the tram whereever you want to go. My first room was horrible (the window overlooked the roof and was blocked by the tower so I saw none of Vegas), butt they were very accommodating and allowed me to switch to the tower. The staff were all very nice, polite and ready to help, which I loved. Very nice hotel. I would stay there again.

bien situé sur le stripPosted Apr 21, 2015
Pros: situation géographique et stationnement facilement accessible
rien à redire si ce n'est que l'accès à la chambre nécessitait une longue marche

First Time in Vegas...Posted Apr 20, 2015
Pros: Close walk to the conference venue - MGM Grand - and several of the other hotels. Friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: We missed coffee and tea making facilities as we are used to these in UK and European hotels. Unless you are in a suite these are not provided.
Location: A walk down the strip in day and night is a must, as is visiting the hotels and casinos. The Monorail is good for getting around too.
This was out first time in Las Vegas and our expectations were high and we were not disappointed. This was a business trip, taking part in a conference, rather than pleasure, and very short too (5 days). The cab ride from the airport was expensive. We later found out we were had. The ride should take no more than 10mins and should cost between $12 and $15.

Hotel with windows that open!!!Posted Apr 20, 2015
My experience did not start off great due to the unusually cold weather and the heater blowing out cold air instead of hot. Since it had been extremely late and all the rooms sold out, two nice comforters were sent up to my room and it was changed the next day without any problems. Having windows in a room that allows a free flow of fresh air is a must for me.
