“Trop has new life!”

5-star rating, NOT A 5-STAR HOTEL. Nicely remodeled older Las Vegas strip hotel. The inside of the property is way nicer than the outside appearance. Convenient self-parking, free. Wi-fi, free. Great pool area.

“The perfect place to stay on The Strip.”

Perfect place to stay on The Strip. Everything is walking distance. The hallway had a tropical smell. They had an iHome alarm clock that you could hook your iPhone/iPhone to. Would definitely stay here again.

“Tropicana Cool”

The Tropicana has completed a renovation and we were very pleased with the overall stay. It is a throwback to original Vegas atmosphere and retro which we liked. Great atmosphere and more like a resort than the huge strip hotels. If you are looking for one of the massive huge complexes then this is not for you, otherwise it is very enjoyable.

“Its all good!!”

Tropicana was a great place to stay and economical. Loved the white marble floors and Bacio, their italian restaurant was to die for!! If I go back I will have to dine there again. Their beds were so comfy too!! The staff service was excellent and I liked the ability to print our boarding passes at this hotel.

“Great Hotel in Las Vegas”

The hotel and its staff met all my expectations. There is only area that I should have rated below "excellent"; it is the TV channels that you offer. While watching TV is not a priority while I am in town, I wish you would add Bloomberg, CNN and BBC. Offering only FOX is quite provocative and insulting to some of us who consider that channel to be 100 % partisan and a source of politically biased entertainment at best. If I found a hotel with the same amenities as the Tropicana at the same price ... but with other TV channel options, I would go to that hotel. For everything else, you are a great placed to stay and your exclusive pool is particularly appreciated.

“Relaxing Weekend...”

Besides the beautiful hotel renovation, the customer service was outstanding. Everyone at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. Looking at the pool area, it will be a great time to come back during the summer! We received complimentary breakfast throughout our stay (although, we did not get to use all of our vouchers), the food was delicious at Cafe Nikki. It was very fresh and there is an omelet station. I work in the hotel industry and this is definitely a one stop shop hotel. It had the RPM Nightclub, Fine Dining, Full Service Casino, Spa, and etc.

“Tropicana”

The room was clean, large, and had a wonderful view of the strip. The beds were comfortable and clean. The bathroom was large and clean. I will stay at this hotel again.

“Nice Hotel, Do away w/the $15 PER DAY xtra charge!”

Room was very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. I am giving this a perfect rating because everything about my stay exceeded my expectations (and then some), however I would not consider this a five star hotel (3 1/2 to 4 maybe). The rooms were large enough that you could comfortably hang out and have a couple drinks befor hitting the strip and again, the beds were really nice for sleeping off a hangover. A small refrigerator in the room would have been nice but having to grab ice was only a minor inconvenience. The only real issue I have is that there was a $15 PER DAY charge for incidentals, such as internet service. The charge above and beyond the quoted room price (they hit you up for it when you check out) and I am not sure there is anything you can do to escape it.

“Birthday weekend”

Our stay was great the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I was dissapointed in the fact that there was not a coffee pot in the room.
