“Very pleased with Vdara”
We stayed at Vdara while attending a conference at Bellagio and had 3 rooms and really were happy we stayed there. We were concerned it might be far from Bellagio, but a short tunnel from the hotel led right to the conference area - so it was actually quicker that if we were in a room at Bellagio! The rooms were amazing, clean and modern - small "kitchenette" with refer, cooktop and microwave (no coffee maker though - a dissapointment as the only coffee is at a cafe/store in the lobby that closes at 8pm or thhrough room service which is pricey), dining area, living room / bedroom divided by a wall with 2 large lcd TVs for both sides, and a reallt great bathroom with free-standing tub and a nice shower - wish there were 2 sinks though. No casino which is great, but just a short walk to Aria (3 minutes) or Bellagio. Overall, would definately stay here again over one of the big casinos with regular rooms, and the rate was very good.
“Facility was great but annoyed by security”
Hotel facility and room was really great. We got the room in upper floor and facing towards the Bellagio water show on our request while check-in (without any additional cost) . The bitter part is: we were unnecessarily annoyed by the security of Hotel Vdara early morning (when we were in deep sleep) for 2 consecutive days. First day by knocking our door at 7 am asking us about "did you hear any alarm?" and the second day by phone at 6 am asking us to "turn off the alarm" when we did not set any alarm on either days. Not sure how many people did they wake up before reaching the person who was actually snoozing. so, the wall of hotel is not well insulated for sound and the security person is not smart enough to not disturb everybody.
“Vdara Las Vegas”
The hotel is very conveniently located. Modern and slick design in the rooms. Very spacious, very comfy, and not pretentious. Fully equipped for computer, networking, media, etc. Also has a fridge, a microwave. Easy access to many surrounding hotels, buffets, restaurants, and activities. No casino in the hotel itself, which is fine by me. Great pool. Good food. I'd go back there for sure, and definitely recommend it.
“Beautiful place; with loud Interstate traffic noise”
Beautiful hotel and great service, but the noise level from the highway is loud, as if you were outside at a rest stop. They changed by room twice, but the highway noise is present in all rooms. My room were on the 48th and 34th floors.
“Great rates and room, LOUSY SERVICE”
Room was lovely- we had a corner suite and at night it's an amazing view. Rates very reasonable- low overhead for them as there is no casino or real restaurant inside. These units were initially sold as condos- then the deal fell through. Full stainless kitchen and washer/dryer. Not enough staff working. We waited 3 separate times at the concierge for over 30 minutes. No-one cared and our feet were aching. The front desk was also very short on help. Plan on spending AT LEAST an additional hour if you need any show info etc... Maid service- every morning they ring the bell- every hour- until you answer. If you don't answer, they dont come back and you get no service. The last day, I called to tell them our room could be cleaned as we would be gone the rest of the day. They said, 'certainly.' We came back to dirty towels, out of shampoo, beds unmade--our call ignored. This is listed as a 5 star. Perhaps the amenities- and you cant beat the price in Vegas for the view. The service, however, was 3 star AT BEST.
“My favorite Las Vegas hotel”
Rooms and floors were nice and quiet without smoke and loud party people. Rooms were clean and mostly comfortable; however, the sun tended to shine right into our faces while in bed at 7 AM through the 3 partitions in the closed window shades and blackout curtains. It would be nice if the small cafe in the lobby stayed open past 8 PM (say until midnight) during the week. There was no food available directly from this hotel, aside from room service, when we returned hungry at 9-11 PM after walking the strip.
“Very impressed”
Our view of the Bellagio and beyond was beautiful, esp. at night. Loved all the hi-tech touches like the button-operated shades and the cardless-entry at the front door. Our room was roomy, very clean and felt luxurious. Hated the resort tax each day but as it covered valet services, bottled water, newspaper, etc., it added to the fancy feel of the place. Everyone was very helpful and courteous and we will definitely be back.
“Nice Family hotel”
The Hotel is nice, clean & modern. The room are well decorated and arranged with plenty of space. The room Service are good and in-time. Also, there is no Casino in the Hotel & smoking. So, it is really good for family. The only problem is not located on the strip. However, it is connected to Bellagio Hotel through a bridge.
“superb hotel, classy”
Superior hotel, very clean. Had a breathtaking view of the city and the Bellagio fountains. Ask for a room on the highest floor you can get!
“Great little quite corner of Vegas with delicious food.”
Definitely going back! Very clean nice healthy food and close to everything.
