Great hotel close to the stripPosted Mar 3, 2014
Pros: the hotel is modern, clean and not too busy with people passing through since it has no casino. Room services are excellent and the staff too
Cons: The kitchen was not equipped except upon request which is fine as we did not want to cook but a kettle would have been useful.
Location: Located a couple of minutes walk from the main strip area. We hired a car and went to the Hoover Dam and Red Rock Canyon which was spectacular.
We stayed at the Vdara because it was a no smoking hotel and was quite new. the room was fantastic with a great view from the 38th floor. it has links throughout to the Bellagio in one direction and the Monte Carlo in the other direction? it rained one day we were there and this made it easy to get to the strip and casino hotels without getting too wet.

Nice hotel but no on site resturant or casino.Posted Mar 2, 2014
Location added lots more walking to any amenities. Our room smelled of smoke and one of our group had to change rooms 3 times.

Great Vegas HotelPosted Mar 1, 2014
Location: Perfect location. Close to all of the great things Vegas is known for.
Stayed on night. Enjoyed the view for the 54th floor of all the lights. Hotel is well located within The Vegas Strip but not in the middle of the all the crowds. T

Great hotel off the StripPosted Mar 1, 2014
Pros: The location, very quiet, extremely fast elevators, wonderful staff, cleanliness.
Cons: each room should have a coffee maker
Location: Even though it is not a casino, it is very close to casinos and restaurants and shows.
The Vdara Hotel is a quiet, upscale hotel. The staff is excellent ! The room was extremely clean and beautiful. We had the room with the 270 degree panoramic view, which was outstanding! The bed was very comfortable. We had two thermostats that allowed us to control the temperature in the living area as well as the bedroom. The location is convienent.. All and all it was a GREAT experience.

Excellent, close to the Strip but away from crowdPosted Mar 1, 2014
Pros: Room service was efficient. The cutlery and utensils were promptly provided upon request - better to ask for the same at the time of check in.
Cons: The refrigerator was not cooling enough, which we found out bit later. Hence did not bother to tell the staff. Staff know shorter route to strip.
Location: There is road between Aria and Vdara which can take you to the strip in 5 to 10 min. David Copperfield show is must watch.
It was pleasant, peaceful still exciting. Very easy way to go up to Monte Carlo through Aria and on the north side through Bellagio. Suite-specious, neat interior-on 51st floor overlooking strip and Bellagio fountains, Paris and overall beautiful view of mountains on all three side. Room service was efficient. The cutlery and utensils were promptly provided upon request - better to ask for the same at the time of check in. Unfortunately pool was under repair but one could use Aria pool instead. There is a lot of walking whether your hotel is right on the strip or just off. I liked the Grand Canyon Tours Company through which we did south rim tour and separate Hoover Dam tour. Again efficient and excellent service. Lunch buffet included in the south rim tour was sumptuous.

ExcellencePosted Mar 1, 2014
Although we knew this hotel was off the main strip, we found most attractions within walking distance. Appreciate the spa vibe & loved the soaker tub after long days exploring. The room was beautifully appointed with a good view of Bellagio's fountains.
