“Satisfy with what I paid”
I rate it from how much I paid. It's inexpensive so I didn't expect much. By the way their staff were very friendly and helpful. Thousand of folks dressed up on Halloween's nights in downtown, very enjoyable.
“New Look for old Downtown”
It's been 5 years since my last visit to Downtown Las Vegas and there have been quite a few changes, some better and quite a few worse. But having been here many times before and knowing what to expect, I will give a passing rating to the Las Vegas Club for the overall experience after being there for a solid week. For those of you that are looking for a glitzy and glamorous getaway, with posh, ostentatious surroundings then head to the strip. But if you are on a budget, and looking to get the most for your money, then the Las Vegas Club may fit your bill. I found delicious restuarants at bargain prices, great gaming from pennies on up, loose slots(really it's true) and cheap free entertainment just outside the door on the Fremont Street Experience. For gifts, go across the way to ABC. For food, Dupars at the Golden gate has the BEST pancakes on the planet! Island Sushi at Union Plaza is incredible. They opened a premium outlet center downtown, but it is not within walking distance. The Las Vegas Club players club is really awesome also. After signing up I earned $80 in free slot play for a couple of hours play! Also I earned enough points for a free dinner voucher worth $50. In a day where all everyone does is complain I went in not expecting too much so I was not disappointed at all. Overall I was pleasantly surprised that I could fly round trip to Vegas, rent a car, stay at the Las Vegas Club for a week and have a great time for less than $700. Wow.
“I will be back next year”
its old but I like it. They are very nice and try to help you in anyway they can
“Great Hotel”
IT was to full so they sent me to the Plaza hotel. The Plaza hotel was excellent. We all loved it!
“Not clean, good location”
This place was to run down, the carpet was filthy and had burn holes, the furniture was damage by cigarrete burns and the coverlet was filthy! I sleep resonably well after I checked the bed for bedbugs and cleanliness (it passed) but overall it left a LOT to be desire off. The personal was very friendly and that was definately the highlight of the hotel as they tried to make for the short comings of the hotel, I stayed in the 10th floor 2nd room facing the wall to the right. NOT A PLACE FOR SOMEONE WITH ALLERGIES!!
“"Can't Wait to go back"”
Very friendly staff throughout the casino and the restaurant. Very clean throughout both the hotel and the casino, some parts looking a bit old and tired, but on the whole great, in the heart of the downtown action in a safe location at the end of the freemont experience. Iwould recommend to anyone who's more interested in the old style Vegas. Fantastic value for money....best three weeks ever.....
“I don't mind staying at Vegas Club every year.”
I am satisfied with the service and location. And it's not crowded or smells cigarettes when you walking on the hallway. But the only thing i don't like is the elevator is too slow. And some numbers doesn't light up.
“i will go back when they renovate”
i booked two rooms my room i could hear the band from downstairs and the heater didn't work and my grandparents room had bed bugs and got bit all on their legs they had to change rooms so they were moved to the newer side i guess because it was alot nicer then our side was even the elevator worked a lot faster the older side we waited about 10 min. for it and the smell on our floor was disgusting
“will stay again!”
was very happy with my stay at lv club. room was average but clean. enjoyed being in the center of all entertainment. the employees were all great. very helpful and really nice. will make this my home when visiting again!
“Some good qualities”
Old hotel, needs much repair. Like the solid walls. We didn't experience any adjacent room noise at all. The Freemont Street Experience was somewhat irritating, however there's not much to be done about that. Hotel staff was very cooperative and helpful. Liked the late checkout option. We had an evening flight out and it was very helpful for us to be able to occupy the room until our airport transportation arrived at nearly 6pm. Was well worth the nominal fee. I would like to see more hotels offer that option for those who can't get outgoing flights near normal checkout time. More attention should be given to dusting high places. Also, our bathtub was in dire need of new caulking. We would definitely stay in this hotel again in spite of it's shortcomings. We were able to obtain a very favorable room rate for the 15 days we were there.
