The front desk person was training and stopped in the middle of checking is in to ask her manager about another check in, not a huge deal but frustrating as we were the only ones there and it definitely could've waited.

I had a premium room which was one of the renovated rooms. It was very comfortable and clean. My only complaint would be the bathroom sink smelled strongly of cigarettes and I don't smoke. I used room service a couple of times and the food and service was great! Overall great experience.

"Off the strip"
The hotel was off the strip which was a plus for me it could use some updating the room didn't have a fridge in it and when we ask about one we were told it was a waiting list for one, our tv cou,d t get any signals only a couple of channels. They really should think about putting a fridge in every room and a microwave by the ice machine. The plus side plenty to do and many places to dine at.

"Pleasant hotel with very good air con. no fridge!"
Room lovely but no fridge or coffee maker. If you like quiet get a room high in the tower - otherwise you won't sleep til late at night. Restaurants attached adequate but not that great. The s&o restaurant served food almost cold - when we complained the waitress and maitre d were haughty and grudgingly apologetic - very poor. Th hotel is well placed to visit the Hoover dam, lake mead and red rock canyon, but Grand Canyon west is too hot and a bit of a rip off - go to the south rim instead. The concierge was very helpful with maps and advice.

Only 2 pillows, no blankets. I could hear the people in the adjoining room. The drywall was chipped. The towel was stained. They downsized their complimentary bar soap so small you can barely hold it. No pool umbrellas. This was a great hotel but quality & management is declining
