"Good Pleasant surprise Pleasant Surprise"
After booking our trip, I started watching reviews of the hotel and saw a lot of them were not good. So I started to worry about what to expect. We found the staff to be very helpful when we arrived 3/23/15. we were given a deluxe room on the 23rd floor of the tower and once in our room there was a terrible drilling sound throughout the room. I went into the hall and it was worse. I found a member of the cleaning staff and was informed they were doing construction and this noise would last all night. I thought uh- oh, the reviews were right!! But to my surprise I called the front desk, they upgraded us to a select room in a different area of the hotel at no charge and we had a very fun Las Vegas experience. If your expecting it to be a fancy and plush hotel, like some of the larger hotels on the strip, then you'll be disappointed. If you want a reasonably priced hotel that's clean, has a friendly staff, and not overcrowded, then this is it. One hint- let your shower run a while, it takes time to get hot water. The bus route picks up right in front of the hotel and you can get up or downtown pretty cheap. Have fun!

Close to the strip! But far enough away so it's quiet. $5 breakfast at the Florida cafe was really nice. Staff was so welcoming and had great tourist suggestions. I was very satisfied!

We stayed at the HRH Vegas 3/23-3/27/15. Had a nice clean comfortable room on the 14th floor. Great view. Shower was huge and water always hot. Would be nice to have a fridge in the room for leftovers and drinks, but the hotel wants you to buy new food every time you are hungry. Hotel is clean, not smokey. Restaurants in hotel were good, not great, but good. Servings plentiful. Pool area is nice compared to most in Vegas. Rent a cabana for the day, you'll love the service. Comfortable, clean, and great servers-all great to look at. ;) Hotel includes free self parking and is centrally located in Vegas without the hussle and bussle of staying on the strip itself. Would stay here again.

"Best value on the strip."
You are in the center of the main action on the strip at a clean, well themed 3 star hotel that will cost you less than anything around you. We stayed at the least expensive room: two queen beds, and a bathroom. Bathroom is basic but clean, and we had a 42 inch LED tv and updated bed linens. This puts you in tower 1; we had a good view of the Luxor and the mountains from the 9th floor. The staff is courteous, and checkout was fast from the email they sent me. FYI, they have upgraded the rooms with wifi access included in the resort fee from your room. If you are looking to save a buck, but not compromise on the hotel, this one is the way to go as you can focus your budget on dining, entertainment and the casinos!

I hot this deal tht oughter expedia and my confirmation had benefits on the side hotel shuttle, breakfast, newspaper etc. I didnt get any of these benefits and hotel staff said it is expedia's fault not ours, none of these things are included. I was under the impression that $32 resort fees includes these perks. Hotel staff finally agreed to give breakfast. Other than that hotel experience was great.

Known as the Entertainment Capital of the World, Las Vegas, Nevada, shines brightly both metaphorically and physically. Hotels

When it comes to Las Vegas hotels, the selection is vast. You’ll find all sorts of accommodations here, including resorts located on The Strip and Freemont Street. There is also a variety of lodging available in nearby areas, such as North Las Vegas, Henderson, and South of The Strip, when you want a break from the nightlife. Whether you’re looking for hotels with casinos and on-site shows or hotels with pool access and lounges, there’s a place for you.

    Transportation

Because Las Vegas has packed so many hotels and attractions along The Strip, visitors can experience many of the sites on their own two feet. While a walking tour may seem appealing, remember to stick to the crosswalks and sidewalks to avoid receiving a jaywalking ticket and holding up traffic.

Contrary to popular belief, the resorts and casinos are spread out, due to their sheer size, so a rental car can come in handy. Vacationers who want to expand their horizons beyond walking distance may want to book affordable car rentals in advance. Many of the luxury hotels feature free parking or validations, so finding a parking spot is hassle-free.

There are also numerous taxi services and buses, such as The Deuce and Citizen Area Transit (CAT), which will gladly transport visitors around town. Flag one down at a hotel because hailing one straight from the street is actually illegal in Las Vegas.

    Travel Basics

A town with the nickname “Sin City,” doesn’t receive such a reputation by turning its lights out after 9 p.m., which means the partying in Las Vegas usually continues into the early hours of morning. So if you plan on receiving a good night’s sleep while vacationing here, we suggest packing a pair of ear plugs to cancel out the noise - especially if you book one of the Vegas hotels in the middle of all the action.

As for venturing outside to the other attractions on The Strip, it’s best to create an itinerary. Though the stretch is only a little over four miles, you won’t want to back track or loop around all afternoon especially during the scorching summer months. Map out your route, pack your walking shoes, and remember to only cross at the designated cross walks.

    Weather

Although palm trees and water fountains may characterize Las Vegas, don’t be fooled; this tropical paradise is in the middle of the desert. And desert means scorching temperatures in the summer and chilly winter evenings. From June through August, Vegas usually sees temperatures soar between the 90 and 100 F, which can make walking around under the hot sun a sweaty, muggy experience. If you do plan to visit during these summer months, pack a hat, sunscreen, and plenty of water to stay hydrated. Alternatively, in December through February, Vegas can experience temperatures that drop to the 30s F, so pack a jacket and brace for the wind.

The best time to visit Sin City is during the spring and fall. During these seasons, the temperatures are mild and comfortable. Both of these times are sometimes considered low season, as the crowds tend to pick up during the summer months and holidays.

Regardless of what time of year you visit the brightest place on earth, the hot entertainment is sure to warm you up while the pool parties will keep you cool. Book your Las Vegas vacation package right here with Expedia.com to kick start your Sin City getaway today.
