"Great time"
THe linq was great . Room was big brand new and comfy. Location was perfect center of the strip . Still some construction on the other rooms so if that bothers you I suggest not staying until it's done. We didn't mind the construction . They only seem to make it better. Great price. Great casino great staff.

"Exceptional hotel"
The hotel and rooms were really nice. Free valet was a plus along with the 24 hour Griddle restaurant. There was not an armoire for clothes but that will not keep me from staying at SLS again. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Loved the shower ( no tub). Hotel and rooms are modern and chic.

"11 day at the end of the trip."
We stayed 11 days. to us it was just the right for us. At the end of the main strip, But plenty of local shops and food outlets if you are on a budget, it also not far from the Wonderful Fremont Street very handy with the bus just out side.

"Nice motel in bad neighborhood"
I was very pleasantly surprised at the appearance, cleanliness and facilities. The bed was comfortable, linens clean, and the large flat screen tv had good reception and a choice of channels. There were a lack of hangers in the hanging area, and I could have used a few basic kitchen dishes, but it was nice to have a frig, microwave and a table and chairs. Hopefully the surrounding neighborhood will come back some day, but just avoid Fremont Street towards Las Vegas Blvd, and you're fine.

Perfect location on the strip. Great room, plenty to great places to eat and the slots seamed to be a little more generous than other strip casinos we played at. All around we were very happy.

My daughter and her now husband selected the venue, so it was our first time there. The rooms were clean, the hotel staff were kind, and I mean from the front door, to the registration desk, to the spa, to the restaurants, to the casino, and beyond. We were very pleased with the hotel/casino.

    Hotels

When it comes to Las Vegas hotels, the selection is vast. You’ll find all sorts of accommodations here, including resorts located on The Strip and Freemont Street. There is also a variety of lodging available in nearby areas, such as North Las Vegas, Henderson, and South of The Strip, when you want a break from the nightlife. Whether you’re looking for hotels with casinos and on-site shows or hotels with pool access and lounges, there’s a place for you.

    Transportation

Because Las Vegas has packed so many hotels and attractions along The Strip, visitors can experience many of the sites on their own two feet. While a walking tour may seem appealing, remember to stick to the crosswalks and sidewalks to avoid receiving a jaywalking ticket and holding up traffic.

Contrary to popular belief, the resorts and casinos are spread out, due to their sheer size, so a rental car can come in handy. Vacationers who want to expand their horizons beyond walking distance may want to book affordable car rentals in advance. Many of the luxury hotels feature free parking or validations, so finding a parking spot is hassle-free.

There are also numerous taxi services and buses, such as The Deuce and Citizen Area Transit (CAT), which will gladly transport visitors around town. Flag one down at a hotel because hailing one straight from the street is actually illegal in Las Vegas.

    Travel Basics

A town with the nickname “Sin City,” doesn’t receive such a reputation by turning its lights out after 9 p.m., which means the partying in Las Vegas usually continues into the early hours of morning. So if you plan on receiving a good night’s sleep while vacationing here, we suggest packing a pair of ear plugs to cancel out the noise - especially if you book one of the Vegas hotels in the middle of all the action.

As for venturing outside to the other attractions on The Strip, it’s best to create an itinerary. Though the stretch is only a little over four miles, you won’t want to back track or loop around all afternoon especially during the scorching summer months. Map out your route, pack your walking shoes, and remember to only cross at the designated cross walks.

    Weather

Although palm trees and water fountains may characterize Las Vegas, don’t be fooled; this tropical paradise is in the middle of the desert. And desert means scorching temperatures in the summer and chilly winter evenings. From June through August, Vegas usually sees temperatures soar between the 90 and 100 F, which can make walking around under the hot sun a sweaty, muggy experience. If you do plan to visit during these summer months, pack a hat, sunscreen, and plenty of water to stay hydrated. Alternatively, in December through February, Vegas can experience temperatures that drop to the 30s F, so pack a jacket and brace for the wind.

The best time to visit Sin City is during the spring and fall. During these seasons, the temperatures are mild and comfortable. Both of these times are sometimes considered low season, as the crowds tend to pick up during the summer months and holidays.

Regardless of what time of year you visit the brightest place on earth, the hot entertainment is sure to warm you up while the pool parties will keep you cool. Book your Las Vegas vacation package right here with Expedia.com to kick start your Sin City getaway today.
