"Nice hotel in Las Vegas srip"
Good experience. It seemed to me to be the hotel on the strip with the most atmosphere. Loved having beer and/or wine with the buffet. I'd go again in a heartbeat.

"Great room without upgrading"
My husband and I joined our friends at the Bellagio for their wedding. We requested a king bed and were delighted to get that. We were pleased with the decor and cleanliness of our room. We liked that there was an in-room safe. Our room was always nicely tidy when we returned in the evenings. Every staff member on our floor was VERY nice and spoke to us every time we came through.

"Great Old Las Vegas Experience!"
This place was great! The history of this hotel is amazing and such a cool old world Vegas experience. Then add to that a perfect location if you like to be in the middle of Vegas nightlife. So many reviews I've read about this place complain about it needing upgrades and that the rooms are small, but it's an old hotel which is all pretty normal for a hotel of this age - upgrading it would defeat the charm of this place. If you want modern, go stay at the south strip area. And so many people giving low ratings because of the noise - this is Las Vegas and you're right in the heart of the activity! If you don't like noise, go to a hotel away from everything (complaining about the noise here is like booking an oceanfront hotel and complaining about the noise of the waves - don't blame the hotel for your lack of logic). And the hotel has a very nice little intimate casino with lovely lady dealers. Also, my personal experience was that the machines in this casino paid off better than the machines in the larger casinos, so that's also a big plus. And every staff person and server I dealt with were all so nice! Loved staying at this place and this would always be my first choice when staying in the Downtown LV area.

"Very nice hotel, well located and very popular."
My first impressions were , clean, spacious and very friendly. The Monte Carlo typified a Las Vegas hotel and casino, I would have liked for it to have its own identity with one particular thing associated ONLY to that hotel, like the fountain at Bellegio or the gondalas at the Venetian. Also, as a non smoker, i stayed out of the casino quite a lot as the whole place stunk with smoke. However, i would still stay with you again as i found the staff extremely helpful especially Neydi Contreras. Thank you for looking after me Neydi and for your kindness.

    Hotels

When it comes to Las Vegas hotels, the selection is vast. You’ll find all sorts of accommodations here, including resorts located on The Strip and Freemont Street. There is also a variety of lodging available in nearby areas, such as North Las Vegas, Henderson, and South of The Strip, when you want a break from the nightlife. Whether you’re looking for hotels with casinos and on-site shows or hotels with pool access and lounges, there’s a place for you.

    Transportation

Because Las Vegas has packed so many hotels and attractions along The Strip, visitors can experience many of the sites on their own two feet. While a walking tour may seem appealing, remember to stick to the crosswalks and sidewalks to avoid receiving a jaywalking ticket and holding up traffic.

Contrary to popular belief, the resorts and casinos are spread out, due to their sheer size, so a rental car can come in handy. Vacationers who want to expand their horizons beyond walking distance may want to book affordable car rentals in advance. Many of the luxury hotels feature free parking or validations, so finding a parking spot is hassle-free.

There are also numerous taxi services and buses, such as The Deuce and Citizen Area Transit (CAT), which will gladly transport visitors around town. Flag one down at a hotel because hailing one straight from the street is actually illegal in Las Vegas.

    Travel Basics

A town with the nickname “Sin City,” doesn’t receive such a reputation by turning its lights out after 9 p.m., which means the partying in Las Vegas usually continues into the early hours of morning. So if you plan on receiving a good night’s sleep while vacationing here, we suggest packing a pair of ear plugs to cancel out the noise - especially if you book one of the Vegas hotels in the middle of all the action.

As for venturing outside to the other attractions on The Strip, it’s best to create an itinerary. Though the stretch is only a little over four miles, you won’t want to back track or loop around all afternoon especially during the scorching summer months. Map out your route, pack your walking shoes, and remember to only cross at the designated cross walks.

    Weather

Although palm trees and water fountains may characterize Las Vegas, don’t be fooled; this tropical paradise is in the middle of the desert. And desert means scorching temperatures in the summer and chilly winter evenings. From June through August, Vegas usually sees temperatures soar between the 90 and 100 F, which can make walking around under the hot sun a sweaty, muggy experience. If you do plan to visit during these summer months, pack a hat, sunscreen, and plenty of water to stay hydrated. Alternatively, in December through February, Vegas can experience temperatures that drop to the 30s F, so pack a jacket and brace for the wind.

The best time to visit Sin City is during the spring and fall. During these seasons, the temperatures are mild and comfortable. Both of these times are sometimes considered low season, as the crowds tend to pick up during the summer months and holidays.

Regardless of what time of year you visit the brightest place on earth, the hot entertainment is sure to warm you up while the pool parties will keep you cool. Book your Las Vegas vacation package right here with Expedia.com to kick start your Sin City getaway today.
