“Very Impressed”

We were pleasantly surprised with the hotel. Extremely good value for our money. Whilst the hotel needs updating in places, it certainly makes up for it in all other ways. Very good atmosphere and made to feel very much at home. Thanks Hermes!!

“easter break 08”

this was the only available hotel on the town of ayios nikolaos as we booked this 1 week holiday for myself and partner in march when we had an early easter this year. the hotel met all our needs in terms of comfort, cleanliness, hotel staff were very friendly, you had a choice of the outdoor pool, restaurant -espeically the buffet of morning, afternoon and evening in which you can eat whatever you wanted. hotel was very close to bars and restaurants,best to hire out a car to get around other places of the island, or do tour trips if you happen to visit in the summer. on my next trip to ayios nikolaos will definatley stay at the hermes.

“Immediately In Paradis”

Having made a short trip to Crete for 3 nights and arriving with only hand luggage we were in our hotel some 30 minutes after landing and on entry to the room we oprnrf our balcony windows to be greeted by the site of the smaller section of Heraklion harbour and in the morning greeted by views of the ocean from the bed. This alone made the stay wothwhile. Breakfast was excellent in the hotel and alas we only had our first night to savour. If this was Crete we could not wait to see the rest of it during our short trip. Using expedia we booked all our hotels in Crete and expedia did not let us down. The trip was most impressive as we took time out from our trip to the UK from Australia. Will recommend the hotel and expedia to our friends.

“Nice hotel in a nice place”

The Hermes is well located for all that Agios Nikolas has to offer. The staff are friendly, the room was clean (we were on the back, so-called "mountain view", which turned out to be a rather noisey backstreet), and best of all is the rooftop pool area which has stunning views of the bay. We were half board and found the food quality and quantity excellent for the rates we paid.
