Pretty basicPosted Jun 22, 2015
Adding extra on for breakfast seemed cheeky considering the rooms are pretty small. Also our window wouldn't shut but there was nobody around to ask about it as it was when we arrived back late at night we discovered this. Just not worth it sad to say

An excellent little find.Posted Jun 3, 2015
Pros: They obviously like what they are doing, and they want clients to come back. I certainly will.
This place is a little gem. The rooms are all finished to a very high standard, and the bed gave me a really good nights sleep.

Well priced accommodation near St AndrewsPosted May 21, 2015
Pros: Clean, warm motel type accommodation with easy access from off road car car space. Suitable for business travellers and golfers
Cons: Bar and restaurant decor a little tired and probably pretty empty most weeknights
Location: Quiet country location
Good breakfast, good staff and well priced rooms a short taxi ride from St Andrews......Much better value than overpriced St Andrews hotels and guest houses

Far better than I was expecting!!Posted Mar 27, 2015 on Hotels
From the outside it doesn't look all that great, but don't let this stop you from staying or eating there! Very pleasant, helpful and friendly staff! Room was fantastic. Although situated very close to a fast road, come nightfall it is very quiet. Would definitely stay again!

Great location for St Andrews.Posted Mar 26, 2015
Pros: Rooms, service, location
Location: St. Andrews is six miles away. There is so much history to see. Also only one hour from Edinburgh or Glasgow. Golf, sightseeing, shopping all very
Rooms were very large as were the bathrooms. Food was exquisite and staff (Scott) was wonderful. Highly recommend the Inn at Lathones.

Middle of the country but close to St Andrews etcPosted Mar 9, 2015
Pros: Staff, food and log fires
Cons: Decor in our room (loft) could be updated with particular reference to paintwork and shower tiles
Location: Remote and in the country - in a good way! Near to main attractions within East Neuk: golf, air museum, local harbours, Secret Bunker and so on.
Very friendly and attentive staff. Excellent food quality and choice. Close to many attractions in East Neuk of Fife.....St Andrews, Crail, Ansthruther and Pittenweem etc.

Nice Inn but a wee bit remotePosted Mar 9, 2015
A nice experience to stay at this Inn although you would need to use taxis to visit St Andrews if you fancied a wee drink in town. Room was nice enough and warm on a cold night. Had dinner in the restaurant and the food was quality. Only downside in the room was the quality of the shower, not very good pressure wise.

A nice place to stayPosted Jan 31, 2015 on Hotels
Very friendly welcome with wonderful staff. The room was a little spartan but no problems for a one night stay. Location was a little remote but we knew that before we booked. Would recommend for it's wonderful food.
