We asked for a double bed and got twin beds. This room was really nice. They switched us to a room with a double bed. It was a lot smaller and the toilet was in a very small room. There was a tub with a hand held shower which we really didn't care for. We were disappointed in this room. Probably should have just kept the room with the twin beds. The staff was very helpful and spoke English. Good restaurants next door. The buffet breakfast was included in the price of the room. This was very good.

My husband and I stayed at The Grand Hotel for 3 nights during the middle of May. The location is perfect, close to the metro and within walking distance to Notre Dame. Our room was clean and a decent size for Europe. The workout room, however was disappointing; it was very small, only had cardio machines and there was no roomto stretch. I would highly recommend this hotel!

If you're looking for a boutique hotel in the Latin Qtr, this is the place. Great location & helpful staff. Comfortable quiet rooms. If first time in Paris, skip the chain hotels you recognize & stay here. You won't be disappointed!

Went to Paris to get engaged so splurged on a better room, and it was everything I could want. It was big, which is rare in Paris and had plenty of space for luggage and spreading out in addition to being beautiful. The room had wooden beams, wonderful bed, stylish and comfortable chairs, and a bathroom which was splendid with an old school bath. It had an excellent view of the Pantheon with windows which opened up to outside and served as a balcony.
The room had all the trimmings which made it romantic and perfect for our purposes including being able to take a bubble bath. I would highly recommend it for those looking for a romantic getaway in Paris. The hotel itself was nice, including a nice entrance and a pretty staircase, as well as an all brick basement to have breakfast which provides a lovely atmosphere for breakfast. The only real shortcomings of the building was that it could be a little noisy at times, especially in the morning.
The staff were professional but not really what I would call welcoming at the front desk. As I can speak French it was not a language issue. The warmth one would hope for was simply not there, professional but not friendly. This was typified most by one individual. There was an issue upon leaving regarding breakfast and communication but was resolved with another attendant which was fortunate because you would not want a fine trip ruined by poor service.

I always stay here when visiting Paris. Fantastic location in a quiet corner of a wee street just south of the Notre Dame Cathdral in the heart of Paris. Easy access to metros, ATMs, a couple of small food markets and some great small restaurants just around the corner. Friendly staff, recently renovated, clean and attractive. Love this place! (Do not confuse this with the Notre Dame Hotel which is close by, but on a much busier and noisier street).

Hotel easy to reach by train from CDG airport, lovely hotel, very clean and beautifully decorated, staff very friendly and helpful, room a little bit small but still very nice. We walked to most main attractions; Notre-Dame, Tour Eiffel, Champs-Elysees, Arc de Triomphe, Jardin du Luxembourg & Pantheon only 5 mins away. Lots of places to eat within walking distance. Had a very enjoyable stay.

Gorgeous, spotlessly clean rooms, comfortable beds, Gorgeous sweedish/Norwegian decor...However the walls are thin and you can hear everything your neighbors do...EVERYTHING, even pass gas...unbelievable. The internet was USELESS and the staff knew well about it; offered free breakfast which I was not interested in, as working online from my computer was essential. It was raining and very cold outside, making it impossible to find free space at starbucks cafe to use the internet, as many people were there; which was a huge inconvenience. Hotel staff was nice, polite, helpful. Would stay again only IF the internet service is improved.

This hotel was quaint and very clean and in walking distance to the metro stations. We were easily able to jump on the metro and go to all the locations. I enjoyed my stay of 4 days, and the staff was very accommodating. My only issue is that the elevator is very, very small.

Historically the academic and liberal centre of Paris, the Latin Quarter is known for its cobblestone pedestrian streets and La Sorbonne University. Neighbourhoods include the cinemas and bookshops of Place St-Michel, the chic shops and cafés of St-Germain-des-Près, the market street of rue Mouffetard, and the gardens of Luxembourg and Jardin des Plantes.
