Recommended: The Tropicana staff was very accommodating – they are what kept this hotel in my good graces. I was there for a wedding, and they did their best to get all of us as close to each other as possible. The rooms were not the greatest, but they are far better than some of the others I have stayed in on the Laughlin strip. The room was clean – I took a smoking room to be close to the bride and it didn't smell like smoke at all. But there was no mini fridge like I have found in other rooms, they offered no travel-size conditioner (only shampoo), my iron did not work and the ironing board had to be jimmied to stay standing. And I guess I'm lucky to be used to the Laughlin weather because there was no heater/air conditioner that I could see, and the window only opened a crack. I would recommend the hotel to others because it's a good deal for the price I paid, but if you can afford a little more, you may want to consider going elsewhere. See all reviews for this hotel

Recommended: We chose this place because they have a non-smoking casino. The property is beautiful and the staff were very nice. The room was very large and the bed was very comfortable. We wished they had had black-jack tables under $10. We ate their seafood buffet on a friday night and were pleasantly surprised at how great the food was. Recommended: They have a beautiful restful enterance, but the rooms are not as good as the Aquarius, sheets do not fit bed, no dusting or vacumeing, tub slowly lets water out. The other good thing is the view we had again peaceful. There was a fight in the next room about 1 AM and someone or furniture hitting the wall. Security said they checked it out and gave it a Code 4 but who could get back to sleep after all that. Very scary too for old people. Recommended: We stayed for 3 nights on Oct. 4, 2009. We checked in on a busy Sunday. Check in time was 3pm but we had no trouble getting our room at 11:30. Staff at check-in was very quick and helpful. We had a room in the tower overlooking the pool, and the only thing wrong was that you needed a bread crumb trail to find it, the room was so far from the one elevator bank. The rooms were very clean with beds that were heaven to sleep on. I loved the casino, not too smokey, and the games were paying. The restaurants were good and the pub was happening! Location was fabulous as the hotel is right in the center of Riverwalk, making it convienent to the other casinos and boat ride. Would definitely stay again and recommend this hotel. Recommended: Was unpleasently surprized that the Hotel required a seperate deposit when checking in. Also, being non-smokers, was surprized that on Indian land, you can still smoke in the resturants. Other than that, the stay was pleasent. See all reviews for this hotel
