"Motel offering great value in the Montreal area"
The motel is located in Laval, on a main street almost in line with Saint-Denis street, a major tourist destination, but across the Pont Viau bridge north of Montreal island. The orange line of the Metro passes nearby, I parked for free on Prieur street near the Henri Bourassa Metro station (one block south of the station, all day after 10 am).
The motel itself still looks like the motels of the 50's: a large courtyard where one parks for free, no counter in the bathroom, very simple furniture. But: the room is spotlessly clean, the bed is comfortable, there is a flat screen TV, air conditioning, a fridge, a table and chairs to eat breakfast on. One picks up the breakfast in the office lobby: juice, coffee, bread, jam, yogourt, three kinds of cereals, muffins, croissants, bananas, apples... One can take as much as desired, and they never run out during the breakfast hours. All day, there is free coffee and cup cakes. The staff is pleasant, my room was very quiet (no noise from the neighbours, and one is too far from the street to hear traffic noise).
I recommend this motel to anyone not looking for elegance, but for a very clean and delightful place to stay.
