"We stayed in a hillside chalet for two nights with our little dog. The chalet had perfect views of the lake and it felt very private. You could hear the birds singing and we even saw a red squirrel right outside our window. The chalet has a rustic feel, with a very comfortable king sized bed, bathroom, and a handy fridge. There is a railway path just behind the lodges for convenient dog walks with lovely views. Excellent continental breakfast with a good choice of cereal, fruit, ham, cheese, toast, pastries etc. The owner is very friendly and helpful and has a beautiful black Labrador who is equally friendly. A perfect stay if you want a relaxing break away from everything and a very easy place to stay if you have your pooch with you. We will hopefully return. "

"A lovely quiet restaurant with rooms right by the Loch. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant was fantastic. The tasting menu looked and sounded great too. The extras in the room such as the charging pad for phones and the Alexa were a lovely touch too. "

"We have stayed at the Dunalastair a couple of times and really enjoyed each visit. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms very well appointed and clean. The lounge areas are great and we also liked the restaurant and the food. The hotel and area is also very quiet. Nice views of Schiehallion too! Recommended for sure."

"Lovely stay at the hotel. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The hotel is clean and well maintained. The spa and pool, although small, is a great bonus. The pub, bar, larder and restaurant are nicely decorated. The fire place burning in the evenings is adding to the cosy atmosphere. The food is good. The hotel is also dog friendly. We would likely return for another stay. "

"We went for a last minute 2 night escape. We had a 2 bedroom cottage and were amazed at the space. Everything was perfectly clean. The bathrooms appear to have been renovated recently. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfast and an evening meal one night. We ate in the hotel restaurant one night and can’t fault the food. It did feel a little expensive but no complaints. We wandered into Aberfeldy on the Saturday and had lunch at a lovely place we stumbled across, the three lemons, highly recommended. Some lovely walks around the resort. We used the pool and hot tub and again no complaints. Couldn’t fault any of the staff who were all very pleasant and happy to help or advise. We will be back and have already recommended to others. Our only gripe would be the 10am checkout time, 11am feels more normal but guess with the size of the cottages and resort there is a lot of cleaning to be done on a changeover day. "
