Pros: We loved the free breakfast buffet. We were there two days and they didn't serve the same food both days. We also loved the history of the hotel.
Location: Must go to Wichita Mountains. Make it an all day trip. There is lots to see there.
We were there for our sons graduation from basic training. Him and his brothers enjoyed the use of the pool.

Good hotel, nice people.

Pros: The staff and the reasonable rate.
Cons: I do not have any suggestions.
Location: Located right off I-44, casino next door, Cracker Barrel two blocks away. Located near downtown mall.
Older hotel, well maintained. There was a problem with my room assignment (I cannot do steps) and the staff quickly handled the change. Staff helped me to my room, carrying my bags and making sure the room met my needs. All of the staff were friendly and spoke greetings as we passed in the hallways. I returned to my room late at night and had to park a good distance from my room. A security person was checking the parking lot and walked me to my room. The breakfast buffet and evening menu are very good. Someone has trained this staff to deliver excellent customer service.

Haven't smelled that smell since 2011

Posted Sep 20, 2014
Pros: Not much
Cons: Strip building and remodel
Booked two nights through Expedia and of course the reservation was screwed up. Booked to nights in non-smoking room, even said so on my confirmation, but they only had me one night non-smoking one night smoking. Not only was hotel old it hasn't had any updates. Walked in the door to the hallway by our room and smelled bad. Staircase to go upstairs was so narrow had to carry suitcase on back. Got into the room and smelled worse than the hallway. Everything was dusty. Were upgraded to a suite. All was, was two adjoining rooms one with no bed but couch and recliner which didn't work. Had two refrigerators one in each side. One didn't work. Daughter had room other end of building and said fridge in her room didn't work either.

Potential

Pros: The absolute best thing about this facility is the bar/lounge! The staff their made my stay! Sherl...the bartender/manager was incredible!
Cons: Bring the place into the 20th century and update the rooms...get rid of the smoke smell in the hallways and tell your front desk staff to be helpful!
Very disappointed in the front desk staff...not very helpful. The rooms are renovated, but not upgraded to what you would expect from a modern day hotel...I think there were three electrical outlets in the room and one didn't work. Location was great for what I was there for , but they could clean the pool area and do something about the birds all over the place.

Pros: The hotel room was quiet even though it was nearly full.
Cons: The wifi signal in our room was so poor we were unable to connect most of the time. An ethernet jack is available which was useful for laptops.
The hotel was clean and quiet. The air conditioner worked very well which is important in that part of the country. A paper tv guide in the room was handy. The room was clean.

First ever stay at a Best Western

Posted Sep 5, 2014
Pros: Close to the freeway.
Cons: Everything needs to be upgraded, especially the AC.
Location: No comment.
We felt like we were in a rundown Days Inn. I though Best Western was more like a 3-star motel than a 2-star but was proven wrong. Room noises from next door were very loud and whenever the ac shut down, it made a terrible noise making it hard to sleep. Complimentary breakfast was good except for the flies.

Comfortable hotel right off the interstate.

Comfortable room. Complimentary full breakfast was good. LOTS of cable channels. Traffic in & out of parking lot was a little crazy Friday evening due to the Casino next door. Overall, very fine experience.

The worst condition I have ever encountered

Posted Aug 31, 2014
The room was dirty-bugs crawled out of shower-the hotel ceiling and walls were crumbling-the resturant was horrible
