“Maid service was not acceptable”

My big complaint is that our room was not cleaned or beds made when we left our room. We stayed here for our son's basic training graduation at Fort Sill. The staff was friendly and room was nice, but I am very dissatisfied the maids didn't come to our room to make beds or change towels at all. I did call the front desk, and they sent us clean ones, but the fact that the room was not refreshed is not acceptable. When we left for my son's graduation, we even chatted with the maids right outside the room's door, they were cleaning the room across ours, so I don't understand why they would not clean ours. SpringHill management needs to see into this. Incident happened on June 3 2011

“too bad, Great, friedly staff!”

great staff, dirty, run down common areas, saw the maintenance guy hanging around,... But the place was really dirty and mossy in lobby, pool, and pool deck area

“Liked the hotel and staff but weather was quite the issue”

What an accomodating hotel. The staff was very helpful considering they were suffering from the effects of a terrible ice storm. The hotel was full due to Basic Training Graduation (which was canceled due to the weather) and locals with no power/heat. I would highly recommend this property to anyone planning on going to Lawton, OK.

“Nice stay”

We had children in our group and rented a double suite. There were 2 televisions in the room, which is always nice when you have children. I like softer beds and have difficulty when we stay in hotels. The beds were very firm and not to my liking, but our room was very clean and well equipped. The breakfast served was nice and enjoyable. The children enjoyed the indoor pool on the morning of Jan. 1st! A great way to begin the New Year! We used express checkout and had no problems at all. I would definately stay at this hotel again and recomend it to others.

Area recommendations

This area is across the highway from the casino and across the parking lot from a major chain restrauant. Easy access from the highway.

“Great Stay for the Location”

This place was probably one of the best Hotels in Lawton for a decent price. The 1 king bed room was nice and roomy, and the upkeep was great. We just weren't too thrilled with the bed. It was much too firm for our taste. Also, the wireless internet seemed to have a mind of it's own. Even when my Mac said I was connected to the network, I wouldn't get internet. The Hotel chain's tech support was able to work it out within a day and it started working. Good experience overall!

“No problems”

Stayed 3 days for my sons graduation at Fort Sills and couldnt ask for better. Close to base, food and Casinos. Room was clean, staff was friendly.
