The air conditioner was extremely loud and didn't cool the room. THe toilet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. The front desk clerk was rude.

As general manager of the hotel I want to apologize that the conditions in the room were not to your satisfaction. The comments you have left do not mention if the issues were reported and my team had an opportunity to make repairs for you. Without more information I can not follow up with each problem. During the dates of your stay there was a notification from the city regarding a water issue that caused the water to have a brown tint. This may be the cause for the comment regarding the toilet. I ask that if you return to Lawton that you allow us another opportunity to provide the product and service that we are recognized for. Jamie B. Hall General Manager

One of the Worst Marriott Hotels we have booked.

Pros: The staff was friendly and tried to be helpful.
Cons: Just about everything about the building should be updated. The bathroom fixtures were old, stained, and leaked. The fridge was barely cool.
Location: The hotel is directly off a major highway close to other hotels, dining and shopping. We had no problem with the area.
The first room we checked into had some very bad stains in the bathtub. We were moved to a second room and noticed something in the toilet. We were willing to clean it, so my husband went to the front desk to get a toilet bowl brush. What he received was a large scrub brush, too large to fit in the small part of the toilet. We tried, without success, to remove that stain. I disinfected the toilet as much as I could. The bathroom sink had a leaky drain pipe. I reported it to the front desk. We decided not to ask for another room for fear that they all had problems and we were just too tired from having driven 10 hours to get there. This is the worst experience we have had in a major hotel. Marriott has been our favorite hotel until now.

Ro B, I would like to apologize again for the experience you had while staying at the SpringHill Suites in Lawton Fort Sill. We take a great deal of pride in he service we offer and the cleanliness of our hotel. SpringHill Suites Lawton Fort Sill completed a renovation of the entire hotel just two years ago. When you spoke to management here at the hotel you said the toilet was actually clean and apologized for initially saying it wasn't, and you would not allow anyone in your room to repair the leaking sink. I did assign the cleaning of your room to my Executive Housekeeper to ensure the room met your expectations during the remainder of your stay. If you are in Lawton Fort Sill again I hope you allow us the opportunity to provide the product and service you expect.

It appears there may have been some improvements to the outside of the hotel...and maybe even the carpets in the hallways. However, guests would be better served by updating the mattresses and the old popcorn ceilings in the rooms. For $100.00 a night (after tax) it could use some upgrading.

Hello Scott. Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment regarding your recent stay at SpringHill Suites. I would like to apologize that the mattress was uncomfortable and the ceiling needed attention. We completed a renovation of the entire hotel recently that included wall vinyl, carpet, paint, upgrades to counter surfaces, and replacing the mattress along with a brand new look inside and out. We did not address the popcorn ceiling and may be able to make a change on that in the future. I have followed up with the mattress and we will address that right away. Please allow us another opportunity if you are in Lawton. I will be happy to make sure all areas of the hotel meet your satisfaction or make it right for you.

My son and I were very pleased with everything, the hotel was very clean the gym was exactly what he was looking for, the breakfast was very delicious and the selection was excellent. Your staff was friendly,courteous and helpful. We will definitely stay with you again. Thank you for making our stay a pleasant experience. I have stayed in quite a few hotels in my travels from the Paris in Las Vegas to a number of cities in Europe your place rates with the best of them.
