“Clean, quiet and comfortable”

My room on the back of the hotel had a great view of the sunrise. I saw some people walking on the ridge behind the hotel, walked up there myself and discovered a paved trail that I took to downtown Leadville and back. The map location for this hotel is incorrect. The hotel is about a mile south of downtown Leadville, and the map shows it as just north of downtown Leadville.

Overall, I had a nice experience at the hotel. The only thing that left me wishing for better was the breakfast quality and the blankets in the room. The staff was corteous and nice.

“Good place to spend the night and very honest staff”

Very honest staff. I left my Nook ereader in the room and when I returned 2 days later, the woman at the desk gave it to me, after confirming my identity. That was a great example of a good hotel/motel

“Good value in October”

This was a good value in early October at the peak of the aspens. Breakfast is only waffles and baked items.

“Good value for area and close proximity to Ski Cooper”

Good customer service and ok location for Leadville. Price seemed high but within range of rates charged by other local hotels. Clean rooms, in-room coffee makers, good continental breakfast. Great customer service at front desk. Will probably stay here again on the next ski trip.

“Nice and quiet place”

It is the second hotel I was in Leadville. The rooms are comfortable and clean. There is a big parking. The breakfast room is too small and I missed some vegetables or fruits in the morning. Against my window, in about three meters distance, there was an electricity pole that I did not like at all.

Basic and clean. The only "chain" motel in town.
