This is a charming hotel with reasonable rates and easy access to both RTES 89 and 91. Remarkably, we did not hear any traffic noise!

Website says full access restaurant but it’s closed Sunday/Monday and don’t mention that since we were there on a Monday had to go out for dinner. Also a lot of dust in the room and cobwebs.

Unable to use any facilities (pool, entrance seating, no coffee at front, room not supplied well) pool area was over taken by out of control youth. Youth were running, yelling, fighting inside/outside of facility no supervision or control by staff.

We try to inform our other guests staying that are not apart of the groups of the extra activity they may see during their stay. Its very out dated, the carpet in my room had old cigarette burns in it, the blinds are old and the caulking in the bathroom under and around the sink and tub is split and not doing its job. The entrance is the best part about the place. Their food also tastes packaged and not fresh or like a chef made it, more like they took it out of a package and ran it through a conveyer oven

Anytime we need to visit DHMC we always stay at Fireside Inn. Our kids love playing in the pool while we enjoy the jacuzzi.

The property is showing signs of age, but the staff are nice and the breakfast is great. The rooms are clean but a little tired. Really like the massage chairs - a nice touch.

My son has had to go to DHMC a few times and we live over 2hrs away. We always stay at Fireside (less than a 15 minute drive to DHMC with traffic). Our kids love the indoor pool and hot tub and we love that it's quiet!
