Our whole experience was great! The pool is open until midnight and is heated - so the kids loved that! We played some games in the lobby in the evening and it was great to have coffee and water available to us. The breakfast in the morning was really good and the staff was very helpful and friendly!

Not up to the usual Hampton Inn Standard just ok
This Hampton was in fair condition and was fine but expected a little better from this chain. We were put in a room with a step in shower that had moldy rusted door and dirty shower floor. The room was hot even though we set temp at 67. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. Just not up to the Hampton standard! Won’t stay there next year when we come up.

Very quiet property-- there's really nothing near this hotel (like traffic or rowdy neighbors) yet it is conveniently located close to Maker's Mark. Pool was sufficient for an evening swim. Outside was very clean-/ no trash anywhere! Check in was fast. Front desk clerk friendly. Reception and breakfast area clean and well kept. Restaurants and the Cooperage Tours was a short 5 minute drive.

Easy parking. King Room is a nice size. Bathroom has cubbies for toiletries. Nice shower. BUT….u need quarters for the washer and dryer and detergent dispenser. Quarters Not available at the front desk. And the detergent dispenser may or may not have been empty. The staff didn’t know. We drove down the road a couple miles for quarters & detergent. Our 1st floor room reeked of cigarette smoke due to its proximity to the outside smoking area.

It was good for what we needed to do. But try to get a second floor room because you will hear everything if you are on the first (we were on the first!). We did not get very good sleep. Not sure we would stay here again, but choices were limited for the area. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Also, make sure to understand what kind of handicap accessibility you need. I booked thinking handicap accesible meant wheelchair, which was not the case. It was “hearing” accessible.

Good breakfast, room was small. Had trouble with shower drain backing up and the desk attendant said we would have to wait till maintenance came back in the a.m. to address it (it was about 7 p.m. when we reported the issue). That meant no showers until then. No room to move to and no monetary compensation. We resisted at this and the desk attendant finally made a call, got advice , came in and cleared the drain. Ok outcome but felt like even that would not have been done if we had not pushed.

Overall A with small room for improvement
Overall stay was good got a good night sleep. We stay at this hotel alot and they are always very accommodating. Continental breakfast is good. Could serve bacon more often. Toilet needs to be fixed wobbles when you sit, shower needs a shelf in order to put toiletries on when showering, employee parks in handicap spot (NO NO) which is reserved for the HANDICAP.
