IN middle of brand renovations, u'd never know!😊Posted Aug 31, 2014
😊Great place to stop & catch up from driving up & down the West Coast....Fabulous staff & the renovations were un-disturbing, silent in fact & outstanding! Clean, comfortable & I happily refer to anyone now that it's all newly redone! THE POOL & BREAKFAST ARE NOT READY!!! PREPARE TO BRING FOOD & PREPARE KIDS FOR NO SWIMMING- (NEEDS BE FULLY DRAINED: AT LEAST, BIG CHEMICALS....::newly surfaced?:: YET.... (According to Mario:Staff member) They'd be just another motel on the side of the road if it wasn't for the awesomeness of the staff! Especially Mario!

The hotel and surrounding area were pretty shady and I didn't feel very safe. The room was dirty, too. The hotel staff was nice, though.

Exceeded expectationsPosted Jun 6, 2014 on Hotels.com
I wasn't looking for much when I needed a place to stay in the area, but for the price, I was pleasantly surprised. It was a decent room with almost everything I needed, though I had to request a chair so I could do my schoolwork in-room; they were happy to accommodate for this though. The coupons you receive for the attached ranch house/mexican restaurant added to the value of the stay. I guess the only gripes I had was the WiFi on the last night was on-and-off, and I wish there was a screen on my window so I could have it open without worrying about bugs. All and all, if I was in the area again, I'd stay here.

Under construction :/Posted Jun 5, 2014 on Hotels.com
The Gorman Econolodge is always my stay over spot when traveling from Phoenix to San Francisco- they allow animals, which is the biggest benefit for me. Right now the hotel is undergoing renovations and the place is a little bit of a mess: paint on the curtains, chunks of wall in the ac/heat vent, cluttered entry ways. It would've been nice to have a heads up or maybe a discounted stay.

Being renovated not warned about itPosted Jun 2, 2014
Hotel was advertised as having been renovated when in fact it was still in process of being renovated. AC was not working, toilet did not work properly, tv was a tiny old tube type tv. Pool was also being renovated so we packed our swimsuits for nothing. When I booked this hotel on expedia I did not notice anything indicating the hotel was under construction and that the pool was unusable, not happy with the hotel or expedia!!! Staff unconcerned about the ac issue didn't even offer us another room with working ac and toilet.

Worn out but fairly clean. No frig, micro, hair dryer, or coffee maker. Right off freeway. The TV worked. Quiet since almost nobody else was staying there.

OldPosted Jan 15, 2014 on Hotels.com
Everything was old. Although the heater was replaced, the auto button was broken so I had to get up throughout the night to turn on and off the heater.

Pros: Nothing really.
Cons: The bed sunk in the middle. We asked for an extra blanket and it took a while but the blanket looked like it had been used for a dogs bedding.
Location: You are in the middle of the Grapevine.
Overall, it was terrible. It was just a stayover and I paid around $60 for the room so I guess you get what you pay for.

Dirty and made us sickPosted Oct 22, 2013 on Hotels.com
Staff was friendly but we discovered too late that they allow pets in the hotel. Possibly because of this, our allergies quickly started to act up. Then, while trying to sleep we could suddenly hear a rat or mouse in the wall making clicking/chewing sounds right around the air conditioner. Furthermore, the sink was in disrepair (the entire wash basin would lift up when using the faucet handle) and it was next to impossible to get warm water out of it. Not at all worth the 70 bucks plus medicine and being sick!
