Great hotel, great staff.
An absolutely lovely hotel, just outside the walls of the old historic part of Otranto. The room was big and immaculate, the location perfect and the staff could not hav been more helpful. The breakfast offered was delicious, plentiful and varied. We would wholeheartedly recommend staying at this hotel.

A great place to sleep, just not one for relaxing
The staff, service and location at Hotel San Giuseppe was great. The only downside to this hotel was that they seemed to prioritise space for rooms over those little extras that make a real difference like a space to relax and sunbathe if you didn't want to go to the beach or an outdoor space for breakfast. This sadly meant that you only really went back to the hotel to sleep rather than it being a space where you can just relax in.

Great location, charming building.
The hotel is placed in a charming old building next to a chapel. The room itself however was on the rooftop in a new part of the building lacking a bit of authenticity, and could get noisy with a door not very well isolated. Overall, I would still recommend this hotel because of the location, less than 10min walk from the main attractions of Otranto.

Travertine Former Monastery in Great Location
Pro: walking distance location to the Old town, excellent and welcoming service staff, good size room, good air-conditioning and water pressure. Not as good: was a former monastery which made the room a bit dark and not as charming, simple breakfast did not have the homemade look. Did not have room for our car but easy walk to outside lot at five euro per day.

Nice trip to Otranto
Clean and tidy hotel with really friendly staff. The hotel has parking (10 euros per day), it's in a good quiet location and only 5 minutes walk to the old town.

Clean, modern and convenient
We enjoyed our stay at Hotel San Giuseppe. One complaint was that there were no glasses in the room, only small, thin plastic ones that cracked easily. Also we are vehement non smokers and some guests smoked out on their small outside areas so that the cigarette smoke drifted into our rooms. There are no windows in the rooms but a screened door that you can open. The rooms are very comfortable and the staff very friendly and very helpful. The breakfast provided was lovely, fresh and good variety of choice.

In questa struttura si sta molto bene, le camere sono belle, silenziose, accoglienti e curate. Un plauso particolare a tutto il personale, dalla reception (sempre disponibili per ogni necessità) al personale della sala colazione (ottimi i dolci preparati dalla pasticciera). La posizione secondo noi è ottima: un un luogo tranquillo appena cinque minuti a piedi dal centro.

Albergo davvero ben posizionato. Massimo dei confort, accoglienza eccellente. Ottima sala colazione (un po costosa rispetto alla norma con circa 15 euro al giorno a persona). Pulizia della camera quotidiana e parcheggio convenzionato al costo di 5 euro al giorno distante circa 200 metri a piedi dall'albergo. Posizione ottima per raggiungere il centro. 8 minuti a piedi e struttura ultramoderna davvero accogliente ed elegante. Sacco mandati sei ma.

Hotel centralissimo a pochi passi da centro storico di Otranto. Personale cortese e prima colazione servita sempre con dolci freschi e sempre diversi. Tuttavia per essere un 4 stelle avevo aspettative migliori, stanza angusta e senza finestre (a parte la porta fibestra ingresso) e troppo essenziale.

Séjour reposant, proche de la mer et de la vielle ville sans le bruit. Cadre agréable. Service impeccable. Personnel accueillant et chaleureux. L'utilisation privative du spa est appréciable. Bon petit déjeuner. La vue et la proximité avec les autres clients pourraient être un point négatif en saison haute.

Abbiamo soggiornato per tre notti, a seguito di pregressa prenotazione con pagamento anche di caparra nel caso di disdetta anticipata, in una Stanza (n.1)con due livelli a temperature diametralmente opposte: in questi giorni di caldo, al piano superiore (disimpegno e bagno)manca l'aria condizionata (albergo 4 stelle!)per cui più che la doccia abbiam fatto la sauna per poi scendere nell'ambiente sottostante (letto)con aria condizionata. Certamente non piacevole: provare per credere. A nulla valse le rimostranze tese a contestare l'assegnazione di una camera simile con pregressa e distante prenotazione! Anzi spiacevoli affermazioni poco confacenti con la tipologia della struttura.

Buongiorno G.le Sig.ra Rosa, purtroppo se si decide di prenotare in una dimora storica come la nostra, dove alcune camere sono state ricavate da alloggi pre-esistenti (in particolare la camera dove ha alloggiato Lei è del 1600) si devono mettere in conto questi piccoli incovenienti, Per il resto e come più volte ripututo, non avendo a disposizione altre tipologie di camere su un unico livello, perchè hotel al completo, nostro malgrado e con molto dispiacere non abbiamo potuto soddisfare le Sue rimostranze (poco confacenti con la clientela della tipologia di struttura). Rent och fräscht hotell med trevlig, tillmötesgående personal. Ligger i ett lugnt område, tar ca 4 min att få till centrum o ytterligare 5 min till havet. Rummet var möjligen i minsta laget men den egna uteplatsen kompenserade.

Ottimo albergo vicinissmo al centro
Abbiamo soggiornato per una settimana presso questo albergo molto particolare. La struttura è di buona qualità ben posizionata rispetto al centro storico del paese.Il personale gentilissimo e molto disponibile. Eccellente anche la colazione.
