Try Der Weisse Ringe (The White Ring), a ski-racing route that covers 13.6 miles (22 kilometers) of trails through three towns, Lech, Zürs and Zug. Skiing classes are available for beginners to experts.
Head back to the village to unwind with a glass of glühwein, a traditional mulled wine. Sightsee in the village and visit a 14th-century church. Lech village offers a great range of restaurants and cafés, offering traditional Austrian Wiener schnitzel as well as contemporary dishes.
Lech am Arlberg also offers a range of activities in summer, including hiking, canoeing, mountain biking and rock climbing. Trek across the mountain’s peak or explore the fascinating Sea of Stone trail, a hike that crosses a fossilized coral reef.
Reach Lech via coach or car in a few hours from Zürich, Friedrichshafen and Innsbruck airports and Langen train station. The ski season runs from approximately December until April. Only one ski pass is needed for the whole skiing area. The Arlberg-Card provides access to over 90 lifts and 171.5 miles (276 kilometers) of slopes.
