“Did the job”

The aftermath of the hurricane a few weeks ago has drawn a lot of contractors from the surrounding states to help out rebuild and almost every hotel in the New York area was booked out. This Quality Inn was available. I travel a lot for business and I usually stay at high-end hotels. I was a little bit worried reading the reviews before I got to the hotel. However, the room was clean, the bed was clean and comfortable, the bathroom had all amenities you would expect from a well-run hotel and the hotel was quiet despite being completely booked out. The front desk was very friendly with a prompt service even at 2am in the morning when I arrived and at 4:45am when I left. Many high-end hotels in the world had real trouble of serving me at that time. The only thing I could point out is the fact that the carpets in the hallways look a little bit worn and give the impression of a hotel not well kept. I didn't see the pool or experience the breakfast, so I can't comment on that. I was satisfied with my stay at the hotel and would recommend it if you are in the area.
