Really disappointment with changed managementPosted Sep 11, 2012 on Hotels.com
I cant believe a Hotel I attend, 5 to 6 weekends in a year, came down so badly the quality vs price. They gave me different rooms: with one bed when I booked two beds. Game me a room it was already occupied...surprise!!!! Changed management, and really bad looking at front. Rooms are not clean, towels are not clean, baths are not clean. What was really surprise me its the breakfast... OMG! nothing the nothing! if you are lucky you can find cereals and milk.

Hidden fees?Posted Aug 5, 2012 on Hotels.com
Overall it was a decent stay for just a quick night while traveling cross country. However I was a little upset that when I made the reservation by phone, i was told my pet fee was included. When I checked in I still had to pay a pet fee. So watch out for that.

Good basic lodgingPosted Aug 1, 2012 on Hotels.com
Probably was better than I experienced, as I was becoming very sick. The room was comfortable, 2 queen beds made a huge difference in comfort. It was a non-smoking room, however someone had recently smoked in the room.

Do not book this hotelPosted Jul 29, 2012 on Hotels.com
Terrible. The sheets on the bed kept sliding off revealing a dirty mattress. The toilet tissue wasn't even places on the roll. It was placed on top of the rusty roll. The desk top was pealing. No hangers iron or ironing board in the room. The breakfast cereal (the two sugar sweetend choices to choose from) was stale. The oj was Sunny D. I was told when I got to the hotel they would change my room from a king to two double beds. When I arrived, I was told that they were fully booked and could not change the reservation. As I looked around the hotel there were at most four cars in the parking lot and plenty of empty rooms. Now I understand why there were so few cars at the hotel.

Very dirty room!Posted Jul 25, 2012 on Hotels.com
Not enjoyable at all. There was food on the floor and trash around the room. I had my family sleep on top of the sheet and in there clothes. We did not shower because the bathroom was dirty. The room reeked of smoke!
Just what we were looking for....Posted Jul 15, 2012 on Hotels.com
The rooms were basic, clean and comfortable at a reasonable rate. I'm not racist by any means but I did have a difficult time understanding the gal behind the counter upon check-in. During check-out I spent 10 mins trying to contact someone at the front desk (for a receipt) before it dawned on me to try calling the hotel, which then brought the gal to the front desk. Breakfast was free but simple; coffee, packaged danishes and cereal. If you decide to stay here I would recommend trying to get a room at the front side of the hotel (facing the highway) b/c as we drove around back it appeared some of the rooms needed some TLC. Location of the hotel was perfect for us as it was just off the highway at the same exit as the Barber Motorsports Park/Museum which is where we were headed in the morning. However, the only thing at this exit was a Bass Pro Shop, a gas station and a Subway sandwhich shop. If you are looking for more food/hotel options you could venture down one more exit and you will find plenty but we were perfectly happy staying an exit away for a tad bit cheaper and away from the local and out-of-town traffic.

Easy off the highwayPosted Jul 12, 2012 on Hotels.com
Nothing fancy about this place, but it was a nice convenient stop off the highway and everything was acceptable.

Yuck, do your self a favor stay else wherePosted Jul 8, 2012 on Hotels.com
No parking if you have anything above a compact car. You want more than cereal, coffee & juice for breakfast? You won't get it from them. Pool is closed, FOREVER. The have a security gaurd patrol at night, they need 1 it is scary. Only good thing is it is across from a Wallymart and we lived, cause we didn't think we were going to.
