A snag at registration.....

Our room was very nice, breakfast was excellent, the pool was a joy BUT when we first arrived they had NO RECORD of our reservation thru EXPEDIA. Thank goodness they had rooms available and they booked us in with no problems. I do not know if this was a problem on their side or if EXPEDIA messed up. Other than that all went well.

Nice hotel at a reasonable price and allowed us to take our dog with us. Air conditioning functioned well. Whole hotel was nicely decorated and well kept. Breakfast was an expansive buffet and efficiently operated. The breakfast room was neat and clean. Check in and check out were quick and efficient. We were very pleased with the overall experience.

Best Western Leesburg

Pros: The night clerk was exceptional. He was slammed Saturday night, but never got flustered or lost his temper.
Cons: The sound-proofing (if possible). The bathroom had been redone, but the rest of the room seemed a bit tired.
We stayed here because it was close to family (High School Graduation). It was a perfectly adequate hotel, however being rather old, it was not very sound-proof, and we could hear the dog barking across the hall. In a pinch, we would stay here again, but there are other, newer hotels in the same area which we will choose first.

Disappointing Stay

Pros: Staff was nice.
Cons: See experience.
Location: Was not a factor.
Pillows were very small and flat; A/C unit was noisy; could not hear the TV, dogs were staying at the hotel and heard some barking when checking in; breakfast was borderline bad - food was cold, eggs were runny.

Pros: nice location with several very good restaurants nearby Free popcorn in lobby is nice touch as is the coffee and newspaper. Nice breakfast in a.m.
Staff was friendly and helpful but I had problems booking for two separate days as they didn't seem to understand. Nor could I get a direct answer about the cost of my room??? Our group was allowed to check in early as rooms were available

This is not a Dulles airport hotel

We waited too long to reserve a Dulles Airport hotel and did our Expedia research and found this Best Western had a courtesy airport shuttle. It does have a shuttle but it does not run often. Once an hour is the schedule and in our case - they did not stick to it. The hotel is an average suburban hotel. Good if you are staying in the area, horrible if you want to go to and from Dulles. In the morning it takes nearly an hour because of rush traffic into DC. At best it is 35 minutes without traffic. There is a toll road that saves about 20 minutes but the shuttle does not take it because it costs an extra $5. When we went to book our return shuttle we were told the 9am was full. We requested 8am and were told the shuttle was going in another direction and we would have to take a taxi. I told what appeared to be the manager that the hotel advertises a courtesy shuttle - where is the courtesy? He said it was booked for another job. In my opinion, if you offer an airport shuttle that is what you should provide. He had no sympathy and did not wish to discuss it and simply walked away. The hotel has a lot of rooms and one small van. At most 8 or 9 people and luggage. Do not stay here if you need to get back to Dulles in the morning. We did take a taxi and it was about $50 with luggage and a decent tip.

Our shuttle service operates from 8 a.m. - 9 p.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m. - 9 p.m. on weekends as a courtesy to our guests. We do request reservations, which are accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis and I am sorry that we were unable to accommodate your requested times as the shuttle was already reserved by other guests at those times. Our staff is committed to ensuring our guests have a great stay and that all their needs are met and we were sorry to be unable to do that for you. I hope that all other aspects of your stay were enjoyable and that we will have the opportunity to replace this experience with a positive one in the future.

Pros: I liked the cleanliness, pleasant and helpful staff, convenient location.
This hotel had a very clean and comfortable room, helpful workers and a delightful breakfast crew. We will definitely recommend and use this place again.
