I thought the restaurant food and service was excellent. The staff went out of their way to serve us wherever we were. I had an excellent pedicure at the Spa and my husband enjoying golfing. Overall a wonderful stay.

The surrounding are very pretty. But the cleaning is not that good. My room had dust, and in one of the restaurants they put me a plate to share a pizza that was dirty.

I wanted this place to be perfect..the grounds are AMAZING but the hotels are just way too old, they smell bad, they try to keep clean but I couldn't even walk on the floor in my room barefoot it just freaked me out. YOU HAVE TO PUT MONEY BACK IN THE HOTEL AND RENOVATE OR CLOSE THEM. I saw multiple reviews about this and they are right. Could barely get a hot shower. The restaurant was disappointing. We stayed one night, fought Expedia for a refund..but got it! Staff was helpful but it took some pulling at first.

In a very natural setting. Golf course(s) looked beautiful. Staff at front desk and hostesses at restaurants were oddly unfriendly as if they were looking down on us. Very unhelpful and almost rude when I asked questions. Housekeeping staff, on the other hand, were quite pleasant and helpful.

Very unique property, would never know you were 25 minutes from Disney. To me the property and vibe was very palms springs, CA. Old school character and charm with gorgeous grounds & great golf. Food at the restaurant was simply superb. I travelled with my 22 year old son on the way back from Tampa, a one night stay that I wish was longer. A little shuffle board and corn hole after golf & dinner capped a perfect last spring break with my son. I hope to be back with my wife sooner than later.

Love the views which are extraordinary. Very peaceful. Room I had was cozy, clean with an extra touch of bottled water. Because of the Historic nature of the hotel, the room was lovely but more modest. I plan to return.

Have stayed here four times. This time there were few room amenities such as extra pillows, note pad/pen, tv guide. Room looks “tired”. Needs new shower curtain, nicer patio chairs.

Bellos paisajes, el hotel esta rodeado de las canchas de golf. El desayuno es espectacular y muy bien atendido. Hay otros 3 restaurantes. Recomiendo El Conquistador para cenar. Los jardines son bellos y la piscina temperada. El hotel es antiguo, sobretodo las habitaciones, pero estaba limpio. Creo que puede mejorar la atencion de recepcion y del restaurant Margarita.

The room was a disaster. The phone didn't work and they couldn't fix it. The AC made crackling noises as it finished its cooling cycle (though they did replace it). I found someone's contact lens stuck to the bedside table (and some other sticky substance). The bed - although very soft - creaked any time I came near it. The bathtub faucet moved around if you touched it (you had to jiggle it around to get the shower to go on). The toilet and sink was designed for the height of a three year old child. I tried to order room service but they didn't have enough people to bring it so I had to go pick it up myself... and when I did go to the restaurant the menu only had half the items they had listed on their site. And and and... I could go on. The one very nice thing about the property was the people. When I finally found a way to call the front desk (see phone issue above) the maintenance person showed up in minutes and really tried to help fix things. The front desk was extremely polite and honestly tried to address the problems; they offered to move me to another room after the first night but I didn't want to do that then have to deal with another set of challenges as I was only there two nights.

Great weekend getaway.
The property is lovely. Very Spanish influenced and beautiful. Mattresses need a bit more “comfort” added to them. They are firm. Staff is very friendly.

Lovely overnight stay
We stayed for 1 night after a company holiday party. The ambience was inviting, and the grounds and views beautiful. The bedding was comfortable, however most of the interior, especially the bathroom, was ready for renovation.

Booked thru Expedia and paid in full at booking. Front desk is very unfriendly and was giving us a hard time, by repeating that no check-in possible as they can't see such reservation in system, or they didn't receive payment from Expedia. The front desk wanted us to pay again. We eventually had to contact Expedia to sort out the problem. The front desk staff is a racist.

The room was clean - No refrigerator in the room was a bit inconvenient and no fan in the bathroom seemed odd. Bed was comfortable however we could hear the people next to us quite a bit. Housekeeping knocked at 9:30 to see if we were gone ( 11 am check out) and then again at 10:44 am. Extremely rude!
