Great Hotel That's a ResortPosted Oct 14, 2014
Pros: The quietness of it and the beautiful grounds.
Cons: The hotel was pretty dead when we were there, yet we got a room with no view really far from the lobby. They could have upgraded us to a nicer room.
Location: It's out in the country, a couple kilometers from the city. Not much to do around there, but during the summer, lots to do there at the hotel.
Hotel Dorf Musterland is a huge hotel that is probably designed for conferences and small trade shows. It is a large property and is probably just popping in the summer time. They have several outdoor bistros and beer garden and have concerts at their property during the summer. It's a gorgeous hotel out in the country and the staff is very nice. The complimentary breakfast is a WONDERFUL spread of great food from smoked salmon to cured meats to fresh fruits. Excellent bar and restaurant during dinner. Very nice wait and hotel staff that was engaging and pleasant. I would love to come back and stay during the summer to experience their patio grounds.

do not stay here if you want any sleepPosted May 13, 2014
Pros: food and drink were good
everything about this hotel was ok which made it all the more annoying when we found it impossible to get any sleep due to the night club bellowing out relentless base thudding music until 5:40 am and I mean loud,we asked for a change of room to the back of the hotel but we were told there was nothing available and they were all out of ear plugs. If you want to party until sun set then this is a good choice but if not I would look elsewhere.

The hotel is quite nice, the decor in the main areas is a good mimic of Bavarian lodge style, and the rooms are large (for German hotels). We were particularly impressed with the bathroom, as it was large, clean, and in excellent condition. The breakfast included with our room rate was very nice, with hot and cold meats, fresh squeezed orange juice, excellent coffee, cooked-to-order eggs, and a selection of breads and condiments. The only complaint we had was the walls of the hotel room were thin enough that the late arrival of the guests next door was quite noisy. We did not take advantage of any of the other amenities of the hotel.
