set in quiet area, room was great - individual characher rather than the standard look of many hotels these days. Would definately recommend to anyone visitng the area.

“University Area's Best”

My third stay in the Belmont House was as good as the first two, and they were great. Pleasant staff, good breakfast (included in the rate), clean and comfortable room (if not very big), and modern fixtures all lead to a nice stay at a good price. Highly recommended.

Very nice charming little hotel located on the beautiful "Walk" near the center of Leicester. The room (executive I think) was large and very comfortable, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was very good.

“Very pleasant hotel in a quiet and convenient area.”

I was very happy with the room which was allocated to my daughter and I. It was very clean and comfortable - with a lovely spacious bathroom. It was an executive double and contained a fridge which was very handy. There were also robes and slippers provided. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was spotlessly clean. The staff at breakfast were very pleasant and food was of good quality and service was very prompt. I would definitely stay here again if I visit Leicester.

“Very comfortable conveniently located hotel”

We stayed for one snowy night in November, following a Tigers game. The room was large, well appointed and quiet, warm despite the unusually cold weather, with a large quite modern bathroom. The setting of the hotel, on New Walk, near excellent curry restaurants, is very convenient . The buffet breakfast was excellent - wide choice including all one would expect of a full English cooked breakfast. The bed and breakfast rate was very good value. We cannot wait to go back.

“Rather dim”

We've used this hotel before and probably will again. We love the location, the free car park and the executive rooms. The room we had this time however had some very swish lampshades which obscured the light somewhat and made reading impossible. Form over function! Food is brilliant but service slow in the evenings especially if they have a function on. There are lots of other eating ops in the area though.

This was our first stay at this hotel and I would definately go back. The staff were friendly and the food was very good. Our room was spotless and spacious - the bed was huge and very comfortable.

For a hotel with decor still in the 70s, the Belmont is clean, service oriented and centrally located. If I had to go to Leicester again, I would stay here.

I chose this hotel because it was ideally located close to the city centre and it also has its own car park. I liked the hotel very much and would use it again. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful and my room was comfortable and clean. I had a nice meal in the bar in the evening and thought they had a good choice on the menu.
